Prologue

     "C-c-c-come on!" Jeremy screamed at the screen, flailing the controller forward. "I totally killed that guy!"

     I sneered and rolled my eyes, "Sure you did, bud..."

     He shoved me lightly and chuckled. "Shut up, Michael!"

     "Well, I mean you were totally at least five feet away from that zombie!" I started looking at his blush, which makes me blush a little myself. I had totally zoned out looking at him. He said something like, "Cocky, aren't you?" but I wasn't listening. I was just staring at him closely.

     I only zoned out when he lightly tapped my face. "Michael, did you hear me, dude? I asked if you were cocky!" He laughed. He laughed so softly and beautifully.

     I winked and gave him two finger guns, "Like usual Jeremey mi amigo."

     He looked at his watch and quickly stood up, "Oh shit, I'm late!"

     I smirked, "I'm guessing a date with Christiiiiiine~?" I sang her name like he used to.

     He slouched for about a second, thinking about her. "Yeahhhh..."

     "Don't go to third base until your second month, you hear me?" I winked at him.

     He raised an eyebrow, blushing super hard, making me crack a smile. "SECOND month?!"

     I laughed, "See you later, Jeremy!"

     "Bye, Michael!" Just like that, he ran out of my basement and to his house.

     I had hated Christine for the longest time. She's beautiful, popular, involved in everything, and all around just so chill.

     But worst of all... 

     She has the only person I've ever loved.
