Early Mornings

(Taylor's pov)

I was awoke in the morning by a muffled crying. I looked down at Elizabeth who was crying. I picked her up and cradled her in my arms. "shh! it's okay." I said rocking her back and forth. "I bet your hungry." I said. When I was done feeding her I decided to walk around the house with her to calm her down. I was walking around admiring my little girl when I felt arms wrap around my waist and I turned around and Ed kissed me. "well hello." I said giggling. He gently put his hands on top of mine and admired the sleeping baby in my arms. "She finally calmed down" he said. "Yeah. And now I'm going to go back to bed." I walked up the stairs and put Elizabeth in her crib and climbed in bed with Ed. He kissed the top of my head. I rested my head on his chest and listened to his breathing until I fell asleep.

I awoke around 7:30 in the morning to what sounded like wailing I managed to get out of bed, and when I opened the door the wailing got louder and I heard the panic in Ed's voice while he tried to calm Elizabeth down, but instead she cried even louder. "Here Ed give her to me." He didn't object, he handed me the wailing baby and once she knew she was in her moms arms she stopped crying. "Did you just want your mommy?" I said cooing. She looked up at me with those big blue eyes and I couldn't help but smile. "Ed look she has some orange hair like you." I looked up at him to see that he was crying. He came over to me and gave me a kiss and bent down to give Elizabeth a kiss on the forehead. After I was done feeding Elizabeth and put her down for a nap I decided to take a nap, because I won't be getting a lot of sleep for awhile. While Ed and I were watching TV I felt me eye lids getting heavier and heavier and soon I was deep asleep.

(Ed's pov)

While Taylor slept on the couch I went to go check on my sleeping angel. I ascended up the stairs into Elizabeth's room and looked at my baby sleeping peacefully. I looked at her tiny hands and I couldn't help but to smile. I can't believe that she is finally here, after nine months of waiting for her she is finally here. I picked her up as carefully as I could. "I promise to always take care of you, to be there for you when you need to. I will always protect you." I whispered to her to try not to wake her up. I set her back in her crib and turned around to see Taylor standing in the doorway. "How long have you been there?" I asked her. "Long enough to hear you talk to are daughter." She said while walking towards me. "You make me the happiest person ever. I am so glad that I have you in my life." Taylor said while kissing me. "I love you." I said kissing her back. "I love you too."
