I finish my make up and take a glance in my full body mirror making sure that everything looks ok. I just threw on leggings and a long sleeved shirt with a fur vest.

I run down stairs grabbing my keys and bag. "Bye Dad, see you later!" I call and then head out the door. I get in my Ford Raptor, I love trucks and especially this one.

On my sixteenth birthday my dad bought this, he has got a huge business. Dad is well known for his business Lockhart Co. and I'm know every where as his daughter. We are not some reality tv or anything, but other business are well aware of us.

I head down the over road and listen to music. I sing along and do little dances in my seat. I pull up into Clays driveway and honk my horn.

He bursts out the door with his mother waving at me. I wave back and back out just as Clay gets in my truck.

"Hey," he breathes leaning aflame the seat taking a breath.

"Hey," I say back. Clay and I have been friends for a long time. I became friends with Heather in seventh grade.

I pull into my parking space and grab my things. I lock my doors and hook my keys on my lanyard. I walk into the school and go to my first class and sit in the middle and wait for Heather.

I never really talked to other people in this class, but Heather and the others I know. I never really payed attention to the others.

Heather prances in with a smile on her face. She sits next to me and squeals. "Who was at dinner this time?" She asks as she sets out her things. I do the same, making sure that my colors pins for notes are all in order.

"Well, it was Marry and Brenden oh and that guy you think is soooo hot too." I say and she thinks for a minuet.

"My boyfriend?" She asks and I shake my head. "Miles or Amos? You know they are so into you?" She says has I roll my eyes.

"Kemo." I say and a smile breaks over her face. She shakes her head in disbelief. "I have to tutor him. His mother says he's not stupid, though, but she insists that I tutor him." I sigh and shake my head.

"I wouldn't mind, but I'm not smart enough." I roll my eyes and focus on the teacher who walks in and starts lectures.

...

History comes around and I'm ready to go home. I suck at history. I just don't pay attention in this class for some reason. I currently have a B-. If Kemo needs help on history he's going to have to find someone else because I'm not good at it.

I watch each kid walk in just to actually see who's in this class. Clay walks in and takes a seat next to me like usual. He's okay at history, we've both come to accept that we suck at history.

Jack, Lacy, June, Kemo. Kemo is in this class. His eyes find me staring at him and he smirks. My eyes follow him before he's out of my vision. How did I not know he was in this class?

The teacher comes in and starts talking out directions for our project. "Alright, when I call your name you pick a partner and if they don't want to be your partner, who cares? Not me. I'm ready to see some tears. Let's go. June your up." He says and sits down waiting for us to finish.

"Lacy." She says. I stare off into space as they call each other's names.

"Clay," someone says and I almost cry. He sends me an apologetic look.

"Sophia." I cringe at the whole usage of my name. I turn toward the direction of my name and I almost hit my head on the desk. Kemo. I got freaking Kemo.

I stand up and grab my things taking a seat next to him. "Prepare to fail, I suck at history." I sigh and he lets out a low rumble of a laugh.

"I don't." He says and I roll my eyes. Sure, that's why his mom wants me to tutor him. "I suck at English. I have a C in that class and my mom thinks I'm failing at everything." He mutters taking out his computer.

"Well congratulations, Einstein." I say sarcastically, he rolls his eyes at my remark. Someone sits in the chair next to me. I turn to see Amos.

"Hey, baby, sorry that I took Clay." He says and kisses my cheek. I smile and wave him off.

"It's ok. Dad is busy tonight so he won't care if we hang out." I say and he grins.

"I'm not sure if I can, buttttt if I can I can't wait. K, got to get to work." He says and then goes back to Clay. I don't know what me and Amos are, but we are really close.

I open my computer with a smile on my face. I start pulling up google slides and share it with Kemo. What a weird name, but they're from Hawaii so it's kind of a different name. I wanna go to A lot of places, Hawaii is on my list.

"I don't know what to do!" I complain and groan.

"Maybe you need a tutor." Kemo says sarcastically. I nod my head. We work the whole hour and I complain the whole time. "Don't forget about tutoring." Kemo say and leaves.
