Chapter 13 - Feeling Better
I'm feeling a whole lot better today but I'm staying home just in case I get worse. Cheree is signing Georgia up for pre-kindergarten today and Chris is at work so it's just me at home today. Chris' job is a truck driver so when he goes away it's for at least a week at a time. He delivers stuff to big company's like Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle a outfitters so it's important he's there on time. I like it when it's just me at home. Especially when I'm sick. You'd think the opposite but not me. I get to stay home and watch movies all day. I've heard about this new series being filmed called FRIENDS. It sounds kinda interesting but I'm not sure if I'll be into it or not. Mum and dad are calling me a lot checking up that I'm still alive. It's kind of amazing how much they care, but some kids find it annoying. After all, they're just trying to look out for you. Cheree baked a heap of cookies this morning for me to take home on the weekend but I don't think they'll last until then. I was chatting with Caitlyn this morning and she asked me to hang out this arvy if I get better. I said yes just in case and the way today is going, I think I will go. It's at target in the mall and I think she's bringing Megan and tamiesha along. Danyon called before to make sure I was ok. I love how much he cares about me. But I also love that Troy hardly cares about me. He thinks I'm a "tough nut". I don't really know what that means but I think it means I'm really tough and strong like some nuts. I have to go. My favorite show "Molloy" is about to start. See ya later alligator.
