2: Uncomfortable

Jasper and I were sitting in the principal's office, Ms. Quatrz. Ms. Diamond was explaining what she saw.
"I caught both of them fighting! Jasper, it's not the first time I see you annoying another student! This one's too much! And Peridot, I'm deeply disappointed. " she yelled.
"I didn't do anything! I protected my friend! Jasper punched Lapis' tray! I had to do something! "
Lapis was outside, waiting for me, covered in tomato sauce.
Tori and Toni were next to Lapis, Tori, glancing at her.
Jasper was staring at me with a mad look on her face.
"Peridot, I'm glad you stood for your new friend, Lapis. It was very thoughtful of you. But that did not include punching Jasper. You two will get one hour of detention." The principal calmly said.
"One hour?!" Ms. D screamed. "Only ONE? Jasper deserves at least FIVE hours !"
Ms. Quatrz got up her chair.
"Let me do my job please."
"But Rose, they fought... it's kind of a big de-"
"Shush. No more talking. You two, out of my office."
"Au revoir, Ms. Quartz, thank you very much, and my apologies." I said, bowing ironically to the principal.
Jasper pushed me outside.
"Get out, nerd." She said.
Lapis was indeed waiting for me.
"Peridot! What happened in there? Are you okay? Is your fist okay? Do you want me to take you to the nursery?" She panicked.
Woah... she really is worried about me. It warms my heart...
Jasper was walking away.
"Yea... I guess I'm alright." I said, replying to only one of her questions, blushing.
"Hey Jasper!" Lapis yelled.
She turned around.
"Whaddup weirdo?"
"Your nose is bleeding" Lapis said, throwing a pack of cotton balls on her.
Jasper, Toni and Tori ran away.
Toni showed us her middle finger.
"Yea, you better run, YOU CLODS!" I shouted.
Lapis giggled at me.
I started laughing with her.
"At the end, we didn't even eat." Lapis said.
"True." We both laughed together.
Ame arrived towards us.
"Wow, I just saw Jasper covered in cotton balls, does it have something to do with earlier at the cafeteria?"
Lapis and I busted out laughing at the ridiculous situation.
Ame looked at us weirdly and went away.
I wiped my tear and said, still laughing:
"Maybe you should change your clothes..."
"Yea, I didn't plan that it would happen the first day of school..."
"I'm sorry about Jasper... she used to do stuffs like that to me everyday in elementary school."
"It's okay... I'm alright, I'm sorry about that tho..."
We both sighed and smiled at each others.
"I have clothes in my locker if you want?" I proposed her.
"You sure they'll fit?" She playfully and nicely said.
"I'm short, but I wear large clothes..." I smiled.
"Ok then, yes. That would be super nice, thank you."

We were in the girl's changing room and I was giving my sport clothes to Lapis.
"Where do you wanna change?" I asked her.
"Here will be fine."
She started removing her blue shirt, revealing her black bra. I was blushing a lot so I turned around.
"Oh sorry, Peri, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
"Peri ?" I said in an annoyed and embarrassed tone.
"Peridot..."
This moment was very uncomfortable.
"I gotta get to class, see you"
"Peridot, wait!"

Lapis' POV

I hurried and put on the green shorts Peridot had gave me. I took my bag and ran after her. I left the locker room and saw her walking in the hallway.
"Peridot! There you are"
She stopped walking. After five seconds she turned around. Her cheeks were red.
"What do you have? Are you alright? I'm sor-" I asked.
"Yes! I am a-okay !" She said with a big smile.
"If you say so... let's go to class, we're gonna be late."
