Peridot's POV

"Peridot?"
My brother's voice slowly woke me up.
"Peridot?"
His voice was getting clearer and clearer as i was escaping my dream.

"Peridot! Wake up it's 8am!"
"Oh my stars? 8am?!"
I ran in my bathroom, quickly fixing my hair.
Ouch, i had a horrible headache.
What the clod happened last night?
I got undressed in front of my mirror and put on a bra.
I analyzed my neck closer.
"WHAAAAAAAT!!???" I screamed.
"What peridot?" Shane said through the door.
"N...nothing!!"
Oh my gosh, why do I have a hickey? I can't go to school with that! Who the fuck did it to me?
I put on the only long sleeve turtleneck shirt I have, knowing it was very hot outside. At least too hot to wear a turtleneck.
I ran downstairs with my bag pack.

When I arrived to school, I wasn't even that late. I was walking fast in the hallway. Gotta find Lapis, gotta find Lapis, gotta-
Someone aggressively slammed me on the lockers. I slowly opened my eyes to see that it was...
"Amethyst? What the hell?!"
"So, did you enjoy last night?" She playfully said.
"Last night??"
"Y...you know... when we..." and she got her mouth close to my ear.
"Fucked." She whispered, and smiled.
"WE DID WHAT?! SO IT WAS YOU??" I yelled.
She laughed.
"You were drunk P-Dot!"
"And you let it happened?! You know I have a girlfriend!"
"You're so sexy when you're drunk."
"Amethyst, do you realize what it means?"
"Uh... no?"
"I CHEATED ON LAPIS!" I yelled, panicking about the circumstances.
"So, what?"
"It can't be happening..."
I noticed Amethyst was pouting.
"Listen, Ame. I gotta go. Please don't talk about that to anyone."
"Fine." She answered, annoyed and mad.
I don't understand why is she reacting like this, i should be even more mad! She knows i have a girlfriend... she used me...
I was running in the hallways, trying to find Lapis. If she ever hear about this, it needs to be from my mouth.

Lapis's POV
I was sitting on a school's bench waiting for Peridot. I wonder if she had fun last night. Knowing her, she isn't a "party girl".
I suddenly heard footsteps coming in my direction. And Pearl sat next to me, pouting.
"Morning Pearl!"
She slightly nodded, not even looking at me.
"Are you... alright ?" I asked.
"Yes. No... I don't know... maybe not ?"
"Do you need to talk about it?"
And she looked at me.
"Yea... You see... it's that thing with Amethyst... it's been a while I kinda have a crush on her but i'm not sure anymore... since she's dating Peridot, there's no hop-
"Excuse me?" I laughed nervously. "Peridot is dating me, not Amethyst."
"You two didn't break up?"
"Why would we?"
"I... hum. You seem to not be aware but last night, Peridot and Amethyst..."
And she whispered something in my hear.
"No, no, no. That's only a rumor, Peri isn't like that, she wouldn-"
"Believe me, I caught them. Peridot was hanging with Ame all night, but then i couldn't find them so i went upstairs, in Amethyst's room and..."
"Stop." I interrupted Pearl.
I had trouble breathing so I got up.

Pearl's POV
Oh god i shouldn't have talk.
"Jesus Lapis are you okay? I'm sorry... I didn't know you-"
I heard someone running towards us so I left my head. It was Peridot.
I looked at Lapis. A huge frown but a very small evil smile on her face.
She took my cheeks and kissed me.
I saw Peridot in the corner of my eye, with the most disappointed look.
I closed my eyes, actually enjoying it. No no. What am I saying. I love Amethyst. ...I think?

Peridot's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes. Lapis kissing Pearl just in front of me.
My girlfriend took the tall girl's hand and went away.
"Lapis, wait!"
She suddenly stopped.
She turned around, her eyes were red and soaked.
"Wait what ? For you to BREAK my heart even more?!" She said, her voice cracking through the tears.
I couldn't stand to look at her like that. Tears starting running down my cheeks. What have you done, Peridot...
"L...lapis, I... no... There's a misunderstood..."
"Oh... no. I got it. You slept with Amethyst, there's nothing more understandable than this!"
How does she know... anyways, that's not what I have to think about right now.
"I was drunk, Lapis. Okay? Amethyst got me drunk and I forgot everything from last night, she told me everything this morning. I promise Lapis, I'm so mad but it's like i wasn't even conscious. It's you that I love, you know it. Why don't you trust me?"
She was looking at me with wide eyes, so was Pearl.
Lapis swallowed.
"S...sorry, Peridot... I can't do it. I just don't trust you."

No... no, Lapis... no. Don't... leave me. I'm nothing without you...
