The next few weeks had blown by for the Cullen's and Whites. Elizabeth, jasper and Emmett were playing a racing game, Carlisle was at work, Renesme was teaching Jacob the piano, Rosalie and Alice were online shopping, wanting to restock everyone's wardrobes for the upcoming Spring season, Bella and Edward were at their special meadow and Alicia had taken a walk with Esme. Everyone knew what Esme was going to do, it was clear that Alicia had no idea what was going to happen.

"Oh I'm so excited!" Alice squealed, as soon as her and Rose had finished agreeing on all the shops that they would visit. Elizabeth managed to finish in first place, cheering and smiling, as Emmett and Jasper complained that she had cheated somehow.

"Same. I mean, I never thought that Alicia would meet someone and connect with them as well as she has with Esme." Elizabeth smiled, thinking of her sister with the one she loves. Alice agreed with her and was pulled into a vision. Everyone looked at her, and Alice smiled warmly.

"She said yes." She laughed. Everyone cheered. A few minutes passed and Renesme watched as Alicia and Esme walked hand in hand.

"They're coming!" Squealed Renesme. She was the most excited about the news that Esme and Alicia would bring to them as soon as they walked through the front door.

"Guys, just act natural." Rose laughed. They all nodded, and got back to their daily activities, as Alicia and Esme walked through the door.

"Guys," Alicia started to announce. Everyone turned their attention to the pair. Alicia sucked in a sharp breath. "We are getting married." Alicia held Esme hand and everyone smiled, cheering, earning congratulations from them all.

"Alicia, I'm so happy for you. My big sister. Getting married!" Elizabeth hugged her older sister.

"Thanks baby sister." Alicia smiled, resting her hands on El's shoulders.

"Well we have to get started as soon as possible. We'll start tomorrow." Alice smiled and the two women nodded.

"Alright, Elizabeth. We should head home, you have chores to finish." Alicia patted her younger sisters shoulder. She nodded and said goodbye to everyone, and Alicia kissed Esme. They were walking back to the car, but came to a stop on the middle of the driveway. Elizabeth noticed the familiar face of her friend, Tessa, whom she had to leave behind.

"Tessa?" Elizabeth asked, walking closer to her friend. But something seemed different about her.

"Elizabeth get back!" Edward, Jasper and Alice came running out of the house. Jasper grabbed a hold of Elizabeth's arm and pushed her behind him.

"Eliza... I caught your scent... I wanted to see you, so I flew in a few days ago. But I was attacked and I woke up with a thirst..." She trailed off. It was evident now, to Elizabeth, that her best friend was a vampire. She had traces of blood on the edges of her mouth and her hands were soaked in it. Her eyes were a deep, crimson red and she looked at the human in delight, not catching enough of the young hunters wonderful scent.

"Oh Tessa. I'm so sorry."
