A few months into the pregnancy, Lucy lost her child due to her abnormally high body temperature. She sat Jeongguk down and told him. They then said the rest of the boys and Mairin. "Jeongguk, how do we tell the fans? I mean, at least some were supporting us." Jeongguk shrugged "we'll figure it out." Lucy stood up "kookie. You need to get ready for your interview" he nodded. Once he left, Lucy started pacing and crying. "Ugh, I'm so pathetic. What does Jeongguk see in me? Why doesn't he listen to his fans?" She continued pacing, debating whether to return to her dark ways or not. A few hours later, Lucy knew the boys would be home soon. She quickly scribbled down a note:
I'm sorry to do this to you again, kook-tokki. I can't help but feel like I'm just another burden for you.
She left the note on the counter and went to the roof. She watched as the black van pulled up, and the seven boys and her best friend climbed out of the car. She knew only Jeongguk would be coming back to the apartment because she asked everyone to give her some space. So she sat with her feet dangling over the edge, waiting for their manager to leave. She didn't want anyone to try to stop her this time.
