We sit staring at Jawn with anticipation. He looks genuinly scared to tell us what he is about to say.
"Just spit it out Jawn"
I snap after a long enough moment of silence.

"Alright, I can't tell you how I got any of this imformation but I got intel a location of a place and a key."

He reaches into his back pocket
"lucky for you I have the key."

This item doesn't look like any ordrinary key a necklace with colorful rectangles.
Before Otto can I grab the strange key and slip it over my neck.

"They warned me about a price"
Otto and I look at each other exchanging glances.
"Money?" Otto questions "How much?"

Jawn looks at a loss as he shakes his head.
He doesn't know, great.
"Where is he anyways?"
Jawn questions obviously he's talking about our sweet little glitch.
"In my room. I don't think he wants anyone to see him though,
He you know had to fade last night."

"He faded in your room?"
Otto almost looks betrayed, priceless.
"Yeah he wanted company"

"He'll need to be there because only he can read the codes."

"Only the ones with the glitch can read the code and that's why no one knows where it started how can a glitch come before the code?"

That is weird did earth just show up one day how was it programmed? Geoff needs to be with is that complicates things at least I won't only have Otto as company.
This is for Geoff not company.

"Here's the map" he pulls out an almost compass looking object.
"It points the direction of the computer I guess it has to do with the magnets."

Otto snatches the compass before I can, shit.
We have to work together we'll put up with it for Geoff.
"Do you know a time we should head out? Preferably with less security."
Otto asks looking at the beat up clock on the wall.
I take a chug of orange juice as Jawn explains to Otto I don't need to listen Otto will remember and remind me constantly.

Geoff walks into the room a sweatshirt and jeans covering up his holographic spots a bit is peeking out around his neck but he can't do anything about it.
Seeing Jawn he clasps his hand over the spot.

"You don't need to do that Geoff it's not your fault"
Jawn tries to calm the boy like I did the night before.
He continues to cover his throat.

Adorable yet sad.

"Want some orange juice?"
Jawn looks startled that I shared.
I'm not that awful of a person belive it or not.

"I'm okay"

He is lying I can tell by the way his nose scrunched up slightly.
Does his hair look extra floofy today?
I'm noticing un-important things.

"You sure?"

"Yeah I'm fine"
Liar. Can't blame him though and this really isn't important.

He's always been just fine after glitches started.
That was an awful day after Geoff got the virus the news has various reports of people coming back from fatal accidents.
They explained how every victim looked as if they came straight out of a video game.
That's what I got out of it at least.

"Do you need to you know cool down?"
Otto questions motioning the glitch.

"Yeah you can sit if you want"
I offer to the dying mess.

"I'm fine"

Liar.

He won't need to lie anymore now that we have a chance.
We can save Geoff.
