Clarke looked at Bellamy's shocked expression before she -without thinking- ran towards the man who was suffering helplessly as he bled out. She heard Bellamy calling her name as he followed her, he tried to get her to stay behind him, but she couldn't just watch an innocent man suffer. She had to help him.

She ran through the crowd, people were already scattering to get out of the buliding or trying to get back to their rooms before anything else happened. No one knew why or how this man had come to be like this. For all they knew the Kingdom could be under attack, but Clarke wasn't thinking about that. She was thinking that maybe, just maybe she could save this mans life.

By the time she reached him, Bellamy had caught up to her. He had his sword drawn to protect them against this possible threat, Octavia and Lincoln were hot on his heels, doing the same as Clarke kneeled down to inspect the man.

He was gasping for air as he tried to speak but he couldn't quite get any words out. "Sh, sh. It's okay, i'm gonna help you," Clarke said as she helped him rest his head on the cool floor. From what Clarke could see, it didn't look very good for this man, he had lost enough blood to almost be dead but for some reason he was trying to hold on.

Clarke looked up at Bellamy. "Do you recognise him?" she asked and Bellamy nodded.

"He's a member of the guard that Lexa brought with her. I don't know why he's still here, he is supposed to be taking over my duty back at Polis.." Bellamy Kneeled down and touched the mans shoulder. "Jones, what is this? what's going on?"

Jones tried to choke a few words out, "A-Asgeda- is coming." He took his final breath. "War is here-" His body went limb and Clarke looked at Bellamy for answers.

Bellamy seemed to be having a battle in his mind as he watched his fellow warrior's soul drift into nothingness. He was gone and the information that he had just left could do great harm if it was true. But the big question right now was, how did Jones's life come to an end here in Arcadia? He had obviously been stabbed, but, by who?

Clarke closed Jones's eyes and then she heard Bellamy put his knife back into its sheath, he then grabbed Clarke's elbow and forced her up to meet his eyes. "We need to get you into safe place. The person that did this is still wandering the halls and i'm sure that they will know where the princess lives," Bellamy said in a low, serious tone that she had never heard before.

"She can go to my room, she'll be safe there," Octavia chirped in. "I'll stay with Lincoln. . ."

Bellamy took a deep breath before nodding. "Okay, you go with Lincoln," Bellamy said as he gave Lincoln a slight nod. "Take care of her."

Lincoln nodded. "I will."

Octavia pulled Bellamy into a tight hug. "Mebi oso na hit chodo op nodotaim," She whispered into Bellamy's ear. Bellamy held her tighter and Clarke couldn't help but smile at the siblings. They were intense but at times, but they loved each other more than anything in the world.

Octavia and Lincoln quickly exited the hall leaving Clarke and Bellamy alone to deal with this major issue. But the one thing that was going through Clarke's head right now was her parents. Were they okay? Were they protected?

Bellamy looked at the lifeless warrior that was laying on the floor in front of them before whispering a quick good bye. Clarke could see the small amount of hurt in his eyes and she found herself interwining their hands together to offer some comfort. "I'm sorry Bellamy, i know he was your friend," Clarke said softly as she leaned on his shoulder.

Bellamy wiped his eyes and Clarke was sure that he was ridding himself of tears, Clarke felt an ache tug at her heart. She had never seen Bellamy cry over the death of someone, and frankly she didn't want to see it again. It hurt her too much too see him cry.
