Clarke heard the door to Bellamy's room close in the early hours of the morning. She was sure that he had gone to attend to his duties, but she was having to best sleep of her life and she didn't want to particularly ruin it just because Bellamy had left the room.

She hadn't heard him get up, or get ready so she wasn't sure that he was going to his duties or not, or perhaps she was just so exhausted from not sleeping very well lately that her mind just didn't take any notice of any noise in the room until he left. She had a feeling that her body could sense when he was gone, it didn't feel as comfortable as it did when he was around and she was sure that her morning sickness would kick in again soon. She wasn't looking forward to that.

Falling asleep next to him again last night felt like a dream, a day ago she had no idea when she would see him next, and now she was sleeping in his bed.

A smile was practically permanent now, she couldn't seem to wipe it away. After telling him that they were having a baby and him being so supportive and excited about it, there really wasn't much more that she could ask for from him.

She stayed in bed for the next few hours, catching up on some sleep while Bellamy was surely by Lexa's side. Clarke felt jealous, but not because she thought that they had something, just because Bellamy had to be with her all day everyday. Clarke didn't know if Lexa knew that she was in Polis, but after what Clarke had heard from Bellamy and Octavia about her not wanting Clarke there, she wasn't so sure that Lexa would be happy about it. Maybe even more so when she finds out about the pregnancy.

When Clarke was finally able to drag herself out of bed, she went to the bathroom and splashed her face with some water before getting dressed. She didn't know what she was going to do today, and she didn't trust herself not to get lost if she decided to wander around Polis.

Octavia and Lincoln would most likely be busy, and Bellamy was obviously out of the question.

She pulled on her shoes before exiting the room, surprised by the friendly face that was waiting behind the door. The brunette smiled at Clarke as if she was so happy to see her.

"Hi!" She said excitedly. "I'm Renee, I'm one of Bellamy's maids and he asked me to accompany you today."

"Oh," Clarke said slightly confused, but she smiled at the young girl— who was probably around her age. "Yeah, that'd be great, thanks. I'm sure that i would get lost if i went anywhere by myself." Clarke giggled as she continued walking down the hallway, Renee followed. "I'm Clarke by the way—"

"I know, you're Bellamy's wife, he talks about you all the time."

"Good things i hope."

"Yes yes, all good things. After all he said about you, I couldn't wait to meet you." They entered the elevator and Clarke found herself slightly gripping the rail again.

"So what do you do for Bellamy? Any line of specific work, or just anything and everything?" Clarke asked, slightly eager to find out what Renee did for him.

"Just things that need doing around here, like washing his clothes, bringing food to him, giving him messages. But now he's assigned me to be your 'maid' i guess, which I'm so excited about, I've never worked for a girl."

Clarke's eyes widened. "Really? Never?"

"Nope."

"Any reason as to why that is?"

Renee shrugged. "No, just, i get assigned to men, i don't specifically know why."

Clarke hummed a response. She could see that Renee was beautiful, and whoever was assigning her to be maids to people seemed to want to please them. Perhaps she is a prostitute, Clarke thought to herself, they were very common around the kingdoms, but she quickly pushed that thought out of her head when she remembered that she was Bellamy's maid as well. She didn't want to think that anything had ever happened between them, but if it had, there was nothing she could do about it.
