AMELIA REMEMBERING EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT NIGHT//THIS IS ALL A MEMORY.

"HAHHAHAHA DYLAN!" Everyone was screaming because he was playing music from his phone connected to the speaker. Holding onto you by Twenty One Pilots started playing. Everyone found it hysterical that he would listen to such music. His save was. "My sisters download stuff from my phone." Everyone was too drunk and stupid to even take into consideration that his sisters were 6-7 years of age at the time. I don't know about you, but, I've never seen a kid under the age of 13 listen to TØP.

"Whatever. Shit is shit and my life is full of it." I say to Ethan. We were talking about all the crappy shit of life. He doesn't know half the baggage I carry.

"It's like the earth. Sometimes the weather is sunny but the world is cold. Cruel even." I just grin at his drunken poetic thoughts.

"I know Lovey." I throw my head back on the lawn chair and stare at him. "You can't expect me not to call you Colly when you call me Lovey." "But that's your last name!" "My last name is Loveheart!" "Exactly, you never get tired of it." I say referring to being assistant captain and hearing his name come second to Dylan all the time. Dylan being co-captain to Luke, didn't deserve half the attention he got. But he did because Luke didn't want to chose his best Friend as co-captain, that would seem bias. I don't think he cares about being second, we all know he's first. He's used to all the attention though. Jack, his older brother, got the same apperception. Well, maybe a little more. But still. They are like everyone's favourite twins, even though they aren't twins.

"Give me a break. I would love more than this shitty life itself for coach to stop calling my name. Sometimes I don't wanna be known as Loveheart. I want to be Ethan."

"What did I say before? Life is shit."

"But one of these days, we'll make it."

"Make.....?" I say dragging out the word.

"Whatever we want out of this ljfe. Life is what you make it."

I couldn't help but stare at the captain. He had all the cheerleaders around him. All the team (except Ethan and Dylan) and all the attention in the world. I don't really know why I haven't spoken much to him. I'm best friends with just about everyone else on the team, and/or squad. He seems so shy. He's one who doesn't like the attention. At all. I can't see harm in it. He has everyone and more around him and look at that, he's staring at me.

I see him get up. As if he was a shield and everyone around him was bullets. They were all trying to start up a conversation and he just gets up and approaches me.

"Colly."

"Please don't."

He couldn't help but chuckle. He squats down so he is eye level with me and the chair I sit upon. "30 talking your ear off I see." Luke says referring to Ethan sitting next to me. He just looks at us both with a cocked eyebrow and throws his hands up. "I'll leave." He obeys what he just said as he gets up and walks away. Luke and I just chuckle..........that was the start of someone I'd thought I'd never forget. I can't believe I did. But to be fair, he's not really the same now. Is he?

We talked all night until eventually we all got our hands on the fireworks. Luke and I went to the bucket that held all the sparklers. We lit them and just played around. I started drawing shapes in the air and absentmindedly drew a heart. Luke came up behind me and drew one right behind it before mine could fade.
