Your POV

After we finish the game, Chanyeol's phone starts to ring.

"I've got to take this, I'll meet you by the entrance." He says, walking away.

After a few minutes he comes back with a stern look on his face.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Nothing, nothing. Let's go." He gives a reassuring smile.

The next few blocks are silent, and I can't take it anymore, "Chanyeol, something's wrong...you haven't said a word since we left. Is it because you lost?" I tease.

"No." He says simply.

"Is it because...I keep on making fun of you losing?"

"No." He says again.

"What is it?" I place a hand on his shoulder. He squeezes his eyes shut for a moment, then pulls the car to the side of the road.

I sit in confusion when the car comes to a stop. Both his hands are still on the wheel.

"(Y/n), my manager called and said that I have to leave." He says quickly.

"What?" I look at him with confusion.

"I have to leave. Tomorrow." He repeats.

"Why?" I begin to feel the past creep up behind me, sneaking through the scars.

"Because we are starting a three month tour. It was last minute. We were only thinking about doing the tour, but, sales are down, and we need something to get the popularity back up. I'm sorry, (y/n)." His knuckles release the wheel and begin to grab my hands, but I flinch away.

"I should've known." I mutter. One tear falls from my eye, I don't wipe it away. From my peripheral vision, I see him open his mouth.

"Don't," I say sternly, "you know. I thought it could be different. I thought something could go right for once."

"(Y/n) it's not my choice! Please understand I don't want to leave you!" He grabs my wrist before I am able to open the door.

"Understand one thing Chanyeol. In my life, only one thing is constant."

I finally turn to look him in the eyes.

"Right when everything begins to fall into place...they leave." I yank my arm out of his hand, open the car door, and begin walking home.

I close my house door behind me and slide to the floor. The tears haven't stopped falling since I left the car, and I can't stop choking on my own sadness.

"(Y/n) honey! Are you home! Is Chanyeol with you? I cooked enough for a zoo, so I hope you guys are hung-" she stops when she sees me sitting on the floor.

"Honey? What's wrong?" She rushes over and helps me stand off the ground.

I try to speak, but am stoped by tears falling from my eyes. She sits me down at the kitchen counter, placing a mug in front of me. I look down and see hot cocoa with marsh mellows floating around.

She pushes the hair out of my face, behind my ear, and lifts my chin up.

"What happened?" She says calmly.

"He's leaving." I choke out.

"Oh sweetie. It will be okay. For how long?"

"Three months." I begin to cry again.

Just then, Gramps walks in and sees me crying.

"What the hell happened to you?" He jokes. I glare at him.

He notices it's serious, "are you alright?"

I lay my head on the counter between my arms.

"When does everyone have to leave?" I whisper.

"Who?" My Gramps wonders out loud.

"Chanyeol is leaving tomorrow." My gram explain.

"You've got to be kidding me. That no good son of a bitch has no idea what he's dealing with! Who does he think he is to play with your feelings then leave? And to think I actually began to like him..." Gramps rants.

"Gramps, it's not his fault. It's his job. My life just sucks! And nothing can ever go right!" I finally say it out loud to them. I've been holding it in for so long, it feels good to just yell it, "and you guys act as if nothing bad ever happened! My whole life has been a disaster! I am just a burden! I can't do this anymore! I have nothing to live for!"

Gramps slams his hand on the counter, making me and Gram jump out of our skin.

"Now don't you go saying that! You have two grandparents that love you! We wouldn't trade you for anything in the world!" He takes a deep breath to calm down, "I never want to hear you talking about how you have nothing to live for. You are a strong, young, talented woman with an unbelievable amount of potential. And we love you more than you can ever imagine. There are some people that will never leave."

He walk around the counter and wraps me in a hug. The tears have stopped falling, and for once, I can feel a little bit of hope sliver its way through the wall of sadness. But not for long.

"It still hurts." I whisper into his ear.

"I know." He whispers back. Gram joins into the hug, and I am engulfed with warmth.

I decide to call Chanyeol. Once in my room, I pull out my phone and see over fifty notifications. All calls and texts from him. I hit the call button, unsure of what I'm going to say.

"(Y/n)?" I hear him say.

"Uh-Chanyeol." I stumble over my words.

"I'm so glad you called." He gives a small chuckle.

"I'm glad too." I realize.

"Look out your window." He says.

I turn and look out into the night. I see Chanyeol standing in the backyard, and I run down, grabbing a jacket on the way. As soon as I make it to the backyard, I run into his open arms. He picks my face up with his hands, and places a kiss on my lips.

He sits his forehead on mine, "(y/n), I'm so sorry that I have to leave-"

"Chanyeol, I understand. I was being selfish. I'm sorry." I tell him.

"Listen, its only three months. We can call and text-"

"But you won't have any time. I know that you won't."

He stays silent, knowing I'm right.

"Will you forget about me?" I ask in a whisper.

"How could I ever forget these beautiful eyes?" He kisses my eyes gently.

"Or this adorable nose?" He pecks my nose.

"Or these irresistible lips?" He kisses me softly, leaving his taste to linger on my lips.

"I could never forget you, (y/n)" he says, "because I love you."

I gulp, seeing the hunger in his eyes, "and I love you too." I say, right before his lips take my breath away.
