Hello everyone! I just got back from a Youth Convention in Hershey, PA, and had such an amazing time. Me and my friends went and I feel so full-filled and happy, I haven't felt this good in a long time and I am just so thankful for this weekend.

Anyway, I want some of your opinions. I have more different ideas for this book and I want to keep it going because I love the characters and the plot. But, I don't know if I want to put it into a continuing sequel to this book, or just keep this one going? Please let me know what you think! Enjoy! - Tara

Chanyeol's POV

"Move and I shoot," Jaejoong says, his hand ripping (y/n)'s head to the end of the gun by her hair.

I raise my arms into the air surrendering, my heart pounding in my chest. His eyes are crazed, looking red in the dull light.

"Jaejoong please don't...please..." I reason, "don't hurt her. It will just get you into more trouble...no matter what, this ends with you either dead or in jail, you know that. Just let her go, don't make this worse than it already is..."

"She's mine Chanyeol! Mine! If I can't have her-" he lowers his voice, "then no one will."

"Shoot me!" I yell right before he can pull the trigger. This catches his attention, and he turns to me.

"Kill me! Just don't hurt (y/n), please-" I beg.

"Chanyeol, no! You can't do this!" (y/n) says with tears streaming down her face, but I shake off her words.

"Kill me, Jaejoong."

He smirks a little, agreeing with my deal. He brings the gun to my head, the cold metal piercing my skin. (y/n) continues to scream my name, the table moving only a little as she scrambles from the ground.

"I love you (y/n)," I say, then lower my head.

"You don't deserve (y/n)," Jaejoong says.

I keep my head lowered, "Do it, Jaejoong. Just promise me that you won't hurt her."

I close my eyes, trying to block out the sound of (y/n) cracking voice. I squint my eyes, knowing he's about to squeeze the trigger.

I hear a gunshot.

Yet no pain hit my body.

I raise my head, looking at the scene before me. Jaejoong has fallen to the ground in a pool of blood, Officer Jin standing at the top of the steps with his gun still raised.

I run over to (y/n) and untie her quickly, wrapping my arms around her.

"I t-thought you w-were dead-" I say, my voice cracking.

She sobs into my shoulder, her body ice cold. She's shaking uncontrollably as I hug her tighter, kissing the top of her head. I bury my face in her head, feeling her heart beat against mine. He small hands grip onto my shirt, as my teardrops roll down her skin.

I grip as tightly as I can, never wanting to let go.

One week later

(Y/n) and I have been staying in a hotel while our apartment is getting repairs, but I haven't returned to work. Conversation is small, and moments are spent holding each other tightly in silence, her jumping at any noise.

Turns out, the woman who was found dead was (y/n)'s mother. After going up to the apartment and finding (y/n) gone, she jumped out of the window in sorrow.

The funeral was small and quiet, and (y/n) did not shed many tears, but kept a lowered head.

We are cuddling on the couch in the hotel, while watching a drama when she speaks up, "she really wasn't crazy."

I turn to her, surprised by her words as her bottom lip quivers. I gently rub her back as tears roll down her face, "she was trying to protect me-s-she warned m-me, and n-now she's d-dea-"

I cut her off, "-you can't blame yourself (y/n). She may have been right about someone coming after you, yet how would she have known about Jaejoong when you were just a baby? She was crazy, just coincidentally right."

She closes her eyes, burying her face into my chest, "my whole life I wanted her to come back...but it turns out she was nothing I remember her as..."

"It's okay, (y/n)...I promise, nothing bad will happen anymore...you're perfectly safe."

"That's what you said last time," she points out.

Her words pull at my heart, knowing it as partly my fault why she was kidnapped, "(y/n), look at me," I bring her eyes to mine, "I will always protect you, and even if you stray away, I will bring you back."
