Today is when I meet Red Velvet. Five beautiful, talented girls who are at the top of the food chain. Goody me.
Chanyeol couldn't take me to meet them today, but he set up some type of "appointment"--if you want to call it that. I'm supposed to meet them at my favorite ice cream shoppe, Happy Cones, at ten. I have to pick up (b/f/n) on the way so I begin to get ready.
I want to look nice, but not like I'm trying to hard. I've never met a female idol, I have no idea what they're going to be like. I decide on a short, burnt orange skirt with a striped long sleeve. To finish it off, I pull up some black knee highs and black boot heels.
I pick up (b/f/n) and head to the shop. Once we get there, I sit in the car, contemplating my decisions.
"I am so excited we are going to meet the Red Velvet! I love their music!" (b/f/n) squeals.
"Yeah, I think I'm going to throw up..." I say, holding my stomach.
"Hey," she says, placing a hand on my shoulder, "you'll be fine. I'm right here with you, all the way through."
I give a thankful look and get out of the car. We enter the shop and I see Red Velvet sitting at a table in the back already, laughing loudly. We make our way back and they all spot me.
Irene speaks first, "It's (y/n)!"
They all jump up, squealing, and I give a smile, trying to hide my nervousness.
"Who's this?" Yeri asks, pointing at (b/f/n).
"This is my best friend, (b/f/n)," I tell them.
"Awesome!" Wendy exclaims.
They give us hugs and we take a seat at the large booth.
"You're so much prettier in person!" Joy says.
I lower my head, blushing, "thank you. But you all are like goddesses."
"Thank you, but you are the bride! You have the bride glow! Which is absolutely gorgeous on you! And I love your outfit!" Seulgi giggles.
"We are huge fans of you guys, we have peek-a-boo on repeat..." (b/f/n) says.
"Thanks so much! Now, give us all the details for the wedding..." Joy smiles gently.
"Well, we don't have much planned, but he wants a winter wedding," I inform.
Irene's eyes light up, "Oh my gosh! You can have huge, tree-like centerpieces, and lights hanging down, with snowflakes...oh, I just have so many ideas!"
