Chanyeol's POV
I walk in late, hearing the Tv on.
"(Y/n)..." I call out as I walk in the living room. I see (b/f/n) sitting on the couch, (y/n) sprawled over her asleep.
"Chanyeol, you're finally here," she jokes.
"What are you doing here, (b/f/n)?" I ask taking off my shoes and coat.
"Well, (y/n) went to go get groceries today, and thought someone was following her home. So, I came over to stay with her. She was pretty freaked out," she says, gently lifting (y/n)'s head off of her lap.
"Oh gosh," I say running a hand through my hair, "why didn't you call? I should've been here."
"She didn't want to bother you...Chanyeol, I think that someone should stay with her during the day, at least, until you get moved."
I nod my head, "you're right."
After (b/f/n) leaves, I carry (y/n) upstairs, placing her on the bed gently. I grab my laptop and open it up, searching online for available apartments. I think one in the city would be best: we could have security, it's close to my work, it's in the public (close to other people), and it's just convenient.
I find one online in the heart of the city. It's a penthouse, which is expensive but let's face it—I can afford it. I decide to tell her about it in the morning.
(Y/n)'s POV
I wake up in Chanyeol's arms, still dressed in what I wore yesterday. He shifts in his sleep, brining me to the other side of him.
After another hour, he wakes up and kisses me on the forehead, "good morning, my love."
"Good morning, I didn't here you come home last night. What time did you get back?"
"About 11," he answers, "(b/f/n) told me about yesterday, you should've called me," he scolds.
"I know, I just didn't want to bother you," I explain.
"You could never be a bother. Anyway, I was looking at apartments last night and I found one right in the heart of the city, I think it would be perfect if you wanted to check it out later today," he says.
"Yeah, that'd be great," I say smiling.
"Okay...and I don't want you to be alone during the day. We need to get people to come stay with you until you move," he says.
I nod my head.
Later that day, we head into the city to see the apartment. We go to the top floor, a lady meeting us when we get there. The apartment is huge, with a modern, artsy feel. The floors are concrete, and the walls are white. There is different colored furniture, strangely shaped and places randomly.
The kitchen is large, with all new appliances and a granite countertops. There are three bedrooms and three and one half baths, including the master suite.
"So, what do you think?" The woman asks.
I look up at Chanyeol, "I really like it, and the view is amazing," I point out, looking out of the large windows at the city below.
"Great, I'll let you two have a few minutes to talk."
She walks away and Chanyeol and I have a team huddle.
"So, what do you think?" I ask him.
"I love it. It has a lot of room and a place for a studio, which is most important," he says jokingly.
"You're right. I like the white walls too, maybe I can start painting again, and we can have wall art."
He nods his head in agreement, "So is it the one?"
I smile, "I think it is."
He turns around to the lady, "We'll take it."
The next few days are spent meeting with different people, singing paperwork to sell out house, and buying the new one. Everyday a new person has stayed with me: Ha Na, (b/f/n), even some of the EXO members have come over.
After five days, we are almost finished packing up most of the stuff in the house. We didn't want to bring the furniture because it is such a haste, but we brought the kitchen ware, Knick knacks, clothes and things like that.
We gather a team of friends to help us move: EXO, Ha Na, and (b/f/n). They help bring all of the boxes up to our new apartment. After a long day of carrying, we finally brought everything up. Everyone is exhausted, collapsing on the floor and strange furniture around the room.
"Should I make some dinner?" I ask the crew.
Moans and yeses are sung throughout the area, and I find the boxes of pots and pans. I bring it into the kitchen and cook spaghetti.
I break open a package of paper plates and get out utensils.
"It's ready!" I announce.
Everyone rushes into the kitchen, piling noodles and sauce on their plates.
"Thank you beautiful," Chanyeol says, wrapping an arm around me.
Everyone leaves and we are left with a mass of boxes. I begin to open one, but Chanyeol lifts me up, throwing me over his shoulder.
"Hey-"
He cuts me off, "-no, we can do this later. I'm exhausted."
"Fine."
We lay down in our new bed, the unfamiliar smell not letting me fall asleep. I snuggle in closer to Chanyeol, trying to fall asleep in our new, safe apartment.
It will be okay now
