Harvey's POV

I find myself glancing towards the door again for the hunrdeth time. My pen taps impatiently on my notepad. I swallow nervously as a hooded figure passes by the diner's windows. My eyes trails its every move my heart sinking heavily as my stomach does somersaults out of nervousness.

The figure passes the diner's doors and strolls away. I sigh in relief but it only lasts a few seconds.

"Waiting for him?" I jump in fright as Dianna raises a brow smiling behind me.

"You scared me Dianne!" She rolls her eyes playfully before urging me to answer her answer.

"I'm not." I shake my head vigorously. Dianne sends me a look leaning against the counter.

"I'm not waiting for Drew, really." I frown setting down my pen.

"Mhm." She nods sending me an all knowing smile.

"Dianne!"

"Whatever you say Harvs." Dianne shrugs grabbing my notepad and pen. I continue frowning as she walks off to attend new customers.

The next few hours passed with a look over my shoulder every few minutes or everytime the door opened. I felt like a paranoid bat looking back.

"Flippen Drew." I mumble under my breath untying my apron tiredly. Folding it carefully I place it in my bag. I quickly change out of my clothes and wear my long sleeve and fitted jeans. Pulling on my thin jacket I zip it up. I tie my shoe laces and pull my hair up in a loose bun.

"Hey Dianne, I'm leaving early today, I have finals to study for, I'm sorry." I tell her softly as she nods understanding.

"Take care Harvs, I'll see you tomorrow. Walk carefully and safely home, good luck Honey." She pulls me in a hug her eyes warm as hot chocolate.

"I will Dianne, goodnight."

"Night Honey." She gives me another tight hug. I nod sending her a tired smile.

Hiking up my bag I open the door welcoming the cool breeze. Exiting I stuff my hands in my jacket's pockets huddling together. Unaware of the body coming towards me I stay in my own little world.

"Oof!" The sound comes out of my as I stumble back.

I frown catching my slipping bag slowly lifting my gaze to meet the stranger's. Dark orbs meet mine and I inhale heavily.

"Drew?" His lips quirk into a small smirk as he takes in my reaction.

"Baby Blue." Warmth travels in my body especially my cheeks despite the cool breeze.

"I-I have to go." I side step him quickly walking pass him in a rather fast pace.

"Blue. Blue! Harvey!" Drew calls out heavy steps following.

"Harvey stop." He demanded reaching me grabbing my wrist. Drew pulled me close as I struggled to escape. His large hands held my hips as I shoved him with the palms of my hands on his hard defined chest.
