“Hey Babe, just making sure we’re still on for dinner tonight, and if we are, I’ll be there to pick you up at around 7:15. Remember to wear something nice! It’s a pretty legit restaurant. I love you, call or text me letting me know, talk to you soon, bye.” I listened to Louis voicemail as I finished drying off from the shower I had just gotten out of. I looked over at the clock on my nightstand. 6:00. Perfect, just enough time. I threw on a bathrobe and plugged in my hair dryer while I texted Louis letting him know I would be ready to go at 7:15. I brought my iPod dock into my bathroom with me and turned it on, blasting The Black Keys through the speakers. Singing along loudly, I turned on my hair dryer and started blowing the hot air through my hair. Once my hair was dry and ready to be styled, I walked over to my closet to pick out a knock-out outfit for tonight.

I searched through all my dresses until I found one suitable. A dark blue, strap-less, floor length dress with thick sparkles at the bottom fading away the higher up my dress it went, completely disappearing just before my knees. I also chose a pair of stunningly silver Jimmy Choo’s.  Before changing I went back to my bathroom to finish my hair and do my make-up. I put on foundation with light, rosy blush. I then applied primer to my eyelids and dusted on some beige and white eyeshadow along with applying a light coat of mascara. Next, I put my hair in a nice and tight twist on the top of my head with a single strand of hair falling down my back, which I curled. After turning off my music,  I returned to my bedroom and pulled my dress on which flowed over my body nicely. I put on my shoes, put in a pair of diamond earrings and walked over to my full length mirror, inspecting my outfit for the night. Something’s missing… I thought. Then I found it, I needed a clutch bag. I walked back over to my closet and looked through my “bag drawer”, pulling out a silver and shiny clutch. Right then I heard my doorbell ring.

“Come in!” I yelled down the stairs. I rushed over to my nightstand to put my things in my bag. “That’s very dangerous Y/n, why do you keep your door unlocked?” Louis said, I smiled to myself.

“Hurry up, babe, we don’t want to miss our reservation!” Louis yelled up the stairs.

“Coming!” I yelled back as I shoved my phone, credit card, license, and keys into my tiny bag, surprised that everything managed to fit. I walked out of my room and looked down the stairs. Louis looked absolutely amazing, he was in a black suit with his hair lightly gelled back. He took my breath away. I walked down the stairs while Louis admired a painting on my wall.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs Louis turned saying,” You know, that painting looks really family-“ He stopped speaking when he saw me, his mouth agape. I tightened my right hand around my bag, and my left hand into a fist at my side.

After a couple of seconds, I started to back up toward the stairs and said,” I’m guessing that’s the signal saying it’s too much and I should go change?” Louis shook his head and said,” No, no! It’s just-“ he let out a gust of air,” You look absolutely amazing.” I smiled and he walked up to me and placed a soft kiss on my lips, even after he pulled away, I could still feel the passion he kissed me with. He walked me out to the car and opened my door for me. After he shut my door he half jogged, half walked over to his side. We drove about ten minutes to our restaurant- even the outside looked expensive. Louis and I walked into the restaurant and were seated immediately thanks to his reservation. When we sat down we were both handed menus. Lou and I sat silently as we surveyed the menu. I noticed the cheapest thing on there was a $17.00 soda of some sort.

I looked over the top of my menu at Louis and said quietly,” Baby, are you sure about this place? We can go somewhere else…”

“Love, please, don’t feel uncomfortable, order anything you’d like, nothing is out of our price range tonight.” Then he gave me that smile that made my heart melt. I gave him one last questioning look before returning to my menu. I ended up ordering the cheapest things on the menu: lemon-herb salmon with a side of vegetables and that soda I mentioned earlier. Louis and I talked easily about our days and our previous trip to Disneyland. When our food arrived we ate and finished off our food in less than half an hour, it was magnificent. Louis paid our bill, which he didn’t let me look at, and we left the restaurant, hand in hand. He again opened my door for me, like a gentleman.
