The light of the early morning shown through the windows of the bat brat. He tossed and turned while his eyes fluttered open and his body began to wake up. He sat up straight, yawning out his tiredness. His feet were slung over the bed. He found his way to his bathroom; he began to brush his teeth and sort out his hair. After that was finished he threw on a pair of athletic shorts then shuffled to his girlfriends room. He knocked on the door thinking that she'd be awake by now. "Go away.." he heard her tired and groggy voice from the other side of the door. He rolled his eyes and stepped into the room. Her room had no light in it apart from the lit coming from the open doorway. He noticed her pull the covers above her head. "Time to get up sleeping beauty." Damian said trying to coax her out of bed. "No I'm trying to sleep, you beast." Damian closed the door shut and walked over to her bed. Making the bed dip when he laid on the other side of it. The teen scooted towards the sleepy empath. "You're usually up by now." Damian said softly as she turned over. His eyes landed on the bags under her eyes. "I had a rough night..don't make me get up." She groaned at him. He said an okay to her and held her close. Letting her listen to his steady heartbeat, that always lures her to sleep. Soon enough Damian fell asleep too
