One Day Until Appointment
Mark's POV
I wake up to Jack still cuddling into my chest just the way I left him. I can't help but smile as I play with his perfect green hair, he looks so adorable when he smiles in his sleep I think to myself as I say,
"Come on sleepy bones! Its time to wake up"
"Arrgh just five more minutes please" Jack wines in response,
"No its already 9am so let's go make breakfast!"
"Will there be coffee?" Jack asks still half asleep,
"There will always be coffee silly!" I reply giggling,
"Then what are we waiting for!?" Jack says on the vercion of yelling as he springs up off our warm bed running to the door "I'll race you!"
"Oh its on!" At that I jump out of bed and sprint towards Jack high on his tail. I can't help but laugh and giggle when I hear his laugh. Once we get to the small kitchen in our dorm I immediately grab Jack by the waist and push him quite rough against the wall near the fridge,
"I knew I was going to win!" Jack says giggling out of breath,
"Hey! That's not fair! You had a headstart!" I complain pretending to be angry,
"You sore loser!"
"Well I'm your sore loser! So get use to it" I reply smiling as I land a quick kiss on Jack's perfect rosy lips,
"You loveable idiot!" Jack says joking once we finally part "now let's make that coffee!"
"Anything for you my small Irish green bean!"
"Shhhhhh!" Jack wines while he blushes.

Jack's POV
It warms my heart to see Mark getting better I say in my head as we now sit on the couch watching a movie I think we are both not interested in, I inch closer so I can lie my head on Marks lap. Now I have a nice view of his handsome face every time he looks down. It feels like everything is turning out fine, I think there is hope for our relationship,
"I love you Mark" I say in a soft loving voice,
"Hey Jack can we talk...?" Mark says as he turns off the movie,
"Yes of course" I reply getting concerned. My heart beat is growing faster and faster with every passing second,
"I just don't want to keep anything a secret from you..." Mark begins as he grabs my hand to reassure my anxiety "when I went out for that walk I wanted to end myself..." When he finished that sentence that broke my heart in a million different ways I sat up so I'm now face to face with Mark tears fighting their way out of my eyes, so Mark could of never came home last night... The thought makes me sick to the stomach "I stood by the side of the road and watched every car pass... And how easy it is to die right there and then..." Mark pauses tears sadly making their way down his cheeks now, "but I jumped out too early... And the guy saw me and stopped... I thought it was a sign... A sign to keep living... For you... I didn't want to hurt you Jack" I'm speechless all I could think of doing is hold my poor fiancé until he stops crying. I know I shouldn't ask questions so I just silently cry to myself while comforting the one I love the most..... But our hug is sadly interrupted by Marks phone going off... Without hesertanstion Mark gets up and walks to the bedroom leaving me alone once again.
Mark's POV
I didn't want to leave Jack... I just wanted to cuddle with him until the end of time but I saw it was Steve's dad, Bobby, calling me. Once I'm alone I press answer...
M: Hello Mr. Young!
B: I said please just call me Bobby.
M: Oh yeah... Sorry... Bobby.
B: It's fine son.
M: So what did you want to talk about...?
B: I was wondering if we could talk about something but we can't talk on the phone... I want to talk in person.
M: Oh okay... What day..?
B: Is tomorrow good...?
M: Sorry no I have to go to the hospital...
B: Oh... Is everything alright son?
M: Yeah everything is fine... What about Tuesday?
B: That's fine with me! I'll see you at my house on Tuesday at 4pm.
M: I'll see you then Mr. Young.
I quickly hang up so Steve's dad couldn't correct me. My heart is pounding, what did he want to talk about....
