Jazmine POV~ (*^▽^*)

Huey is so cute 😍. Omg how did I land someone like him? Not only is he super smart, but he can fight, speak like 5 different languages, and he's sexy as hell!

Am I right ladies?

I know he's really not reading that book. How the hell could he be on the same page for the last 3 minutes? Huey only takes 1 minute and 50 seconds to read each page. His mind was on something.

Was he thinking about his family?

Riley and Jada have been really buddy buddy lately. Don't get me wrong, they are twins and I wouldn't expect anything else but still. They've been leaving him out a lot.

Was he thinking about Caesar?

Since Ceez's aunt was killed he was kinda distant with everyone. I understand that too since she was all he had left that was family. But he'll recover.

Was he thinking about our new living arrangement. I thought Huey would be the happiest out of all of us about it. This was his home.

Was he in pain? Huey had been feeling really sore since his surgery and from times it would make him space out because he wanted to focus on stopping the pain.

7 minutes later and he finally flips his page. Something is definitely on his mind.

Was he thinking about me? I mean, I'm his hot, caring, amazing girlfriend. I live with him and will be with him forever.

Is he... Crying?

"Huey?" I say out loud. Huey turns away from me so I can't she's his face. "Huey what's wrong? Babe, talk to me!"

Huey said nothing as tears just rolled down his face. His teeth were clenched along with his fist. His book was damp from his flowing tears.

Oh no! What should I do? Should I get someone?

No. Huey doesn't like when people see him cry.

Ask what's wrong?

Ugh, Huey doesn't like that either. It's like when someone gets hurt and you ask them if they're okay and they give you that "do I look okay?" Type of look.

I don't wanna get yelled at but at the same time I don't like when he's sad.

My eyes widen. Huey hugged me.

Is he sick?

That's a possibility. But what does that have to do with anything?

I shouldn't question it though. I should just hug him back. Be a supportive girlfriend.

"I ruined our lives," He says. "I ruined your life. You had to move from your parents to Chicago against your will and you had to go against your moral code and kill. I'm the worst boyfriend ever."

"Oh, Huey," I hug him tighter, "You didn't ruin my life."

"I did," He said. "I knew I shouldn't have fallen in love with you. That only hurts you more."

Is this what's been on his mind? He regrets dating me? 

No Jazmine, that's not what he means! He means, he regrets dragging you into it. Gosh, you're such an idiot!

But why would he regret that? Honestly, living with him and everyone else is like a dream come true. They're my real family and I don't know what I'd do without them.

"And I thought you were smart," I say. Huey looks at me, "You could never ruin my life. Well, if you dumped me you could but that's besides the point. Listen, I love living here. This is your hometown. You have history here. It's like a piece of you that I get to be apart of."

"But what about your family?" Huey sniffs.

"I don't need them," I tell him. "I have a family right here."

Huey hugs me again, kissing my forehead.

"You really complete me, Jazmine."
