Move On by Jada Freeman

Times get harder as life moves on
Trying not to hold onto anything dear
Being afraid that it might be gone
But fighting is all you can do, right?
Facing vengeance of others as you're trying to see the light
But will that help you move on?

Saying "its okay" seems to do no justice
Watching your brother face his past as he's trying to figure out what love is
We face our fears trying to gain what we've lost and try to take control
But will we move on?

You look in the mirror to see a woman who's lost her soul
All those long hard years of not knowing, something seems to take its toll
But what matter will searching do if you can't find the answers you're looking for
That's not how you move on

Bringing loved ones into our lives only makes things worse
We seem as though we are selfish by sharing our curse
But they don't mind, they say they love us
They help us move on

Things we've seen can't be erased
Just like things we've done and been through won't be gone
We must keep what we have close before we realize it's gone for good
All we can do, is move on
