AND ALSO, a person (cupcakefun327 ayee) sent me a post that ended up convincing me that John did die on purpose and now I'm depressed, yay
So today we are gonna talk about Henry Laurens.
I know, ew.
And yes we know that he was a class A+ bitch but what exactly did he do??
First of all, unlike some people believe, he did not physically abuse John or his brothers and mom so don't worry about that, but he was still an awful father.
Because John was the eldest son, Henry gave him a lot of expectations to live up to. If in Henry's perspective John wasn't doing enough or he wasn't doing what he was told to do he would threaten him to stop loving John (Henry what in the fucking hell) and he threatened John to disown him once or twice.
John was put into a lot of pressure and stress because of his father and he felt like he would never be enough for his father and he would never live up to his expectations.
So yeah, Henry Laurens was fucking awful.
