so today is going to be an eventful day
we have so many hurricane evacuees staying in my hometown. my mom decided to organize a large group of people to go down to my local hotels and play with kids there, do face painting, braid hair, etc. all to get these families' minds off of the hurricane in their hometowns.
as terrible as the hurricane is, I really hope this helps get their hopes and moods up and comforts them in this time.
I'll try and take pictures just for the sake of memories and to portray the work some of my community attempts to do.
but overall, my thoughts and prayers are with these people that have been impacted and that they will have a home to return to..
