Saying goodbye to Hunter was hard. There was no body in the casket, but the ashes were spread in all of his favorite places to go. Including our secret cave, which had become one of my go to spots.

College would start in a week for me, which was exiting. The real thing I was pumped about was being able to visit the ocean.

Greyson had showed me how to get to his underwater town, Honeydale, and his favorite spots. I would miss Alexa, but it was time we went our separate ways.

I told my parents about me being a mermaid, after all, I could trust them.

College would be a brand new adventure for me, and I was so ready. The life ahead of me was going to be different.

My dream of being a performer, had to be cut short, due to a rupture in my throat. (A spell saved it, but I would never be able to play flute again) Luckily this college was looking for new design students, and that was right up my alley.

College, here I come.
