Home is The Found Family
the solitary and familyless who have suddenly all found each other
who create accepting and loving tribes
that are more bound and bonded to each other than
blood-is-thicker-than-water clans
For me
Home is a hang-out movie
a film which I find myself
watching over and over again
because I like hanging out with those characters.
For me
Home is the setting of my latest novel
where all the characters are known by me
and where I imagine
--if they are aware of my existence--
they would know me as well
and bring me protected into their hearts.
