Jenna and I we're shook. We figured that Brendon would be scared. Terrified, almost. We didn't understand why he didn't remember us. Perhaps it was an effect of him dying? And how was he here in the first place? Those we're just few of the questions that I and Jenna kept asking.
We sat together on the living room floor of my apartment. Papers we're spread out in front of us. We couldn't seem to put the pieces together.. but we kept trying anyways. The answer was here somewhere! We'd just have search harder..
"Tyler, I'm getting tired! What time is it?" Jenna asked, yawning.
I rolled my eyes and chugged a gulp of my beer. Jenna was starting to get on my nerves. The constant whining and complaining was getting ridiculous.
"If we're going to figure this out, you need to be determined, Jenna. Or leave. I can do this on my own."
She sighs and cracks her neck, "Alright, Tyler. Let's keep working then."

It was 6 am when we stopped working. I didn't hear another yawn out of Jenna until then. We got a lot of work done. I was satisfied. Jenna left around 8, right after she caught me up on every boring detail of her 'sad' life. I scoffed as she talked. Her life was sad? I doubt it.

Around 11 is when I stopped by his house. The lost project, I thought. The one that got away. The heart breaker. I knocked on the door with shaking hands. Then I stood there firmly. I wasn't going to move from this place no matter how loud he screamed. I was determined.
