Chapter 21

Bas’ POV

P’Tae told me to get our stuff from the dressing room, but I didn’t because I heard him telling P’Godt that they should talk and then they walked towards the other building. I feel a little scared of what might happen. What if P’Tae do something to P’Godt? I don’t want to cause any trouble especially if our job is at risk.

Anxiously, I walked sneakily to follow them. I have to hide somewhere in the corner to listen to their conversation.

“Godt, I know what you did to Bas during his birthday. I’ve been meaning to punch your face since this morning, but I couldn’t because Bas wouldn’t want that. He wants to forget everything that happened as the two of you are okay now.”

“… but I know you know that I’m his boyfriend now, and I can’t just let go of what happened. However, I want to let you know that things like that must never happen again. Do you get me? I am hoping that you will respect me as his boyfriend and as your P’.”

All that to my surprise. What is P’Tae saying? Am I hearing it right?
I didn’t expect him to handle it this way. I was kind of expecting to see the two of them beating each other, but now, it’s P’Tae asking P’Godt to put the matter to rest.

What happened next shocked me even more.

P’Tee came out of nowhere, and it looks like he heard everything.

“Did I hear it right, P’Tae? Bas is your boyfriend?”

P’Tae was as surprised as I am he can’t say anything even P’Godt.

After recovering from shock, P’Tae spoke to P’Tee,
“Tee, please calm down first. Someone might hear you.” P’Tee’s voice was kind of a little loud actually.

“Just answer my question, P’Tae.”
Before I could hear what P’Tae would say, somebody dragged me away from that scene.

WTF! What is this? Is this the night when everybody finds out about my secret?

“P’Kim!”

While walking away from those three, he asks me a question,
“Bas, what did you get yourself into? I heard everything. Is it all true?”

“Uhm…”

I can’t find the right words to tell him because what just happened hasn’t sunk in yet. Now, P’Tee and P’Kim already know. I wonder where P’Cop is. He’s been left out. Maybe if I start talking, he will also appear from nowhere.

“Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone. I just want you to be careful. This is all too shocking for me. I didn’t realize how this job would affect all of us. Should I start chasing Copgi as well? Ha ha!”

This might not be a good time to play around, but P’Kim’s humor made me feel a little better.

“Thanks, P’Kim. You heard it right. P’Tae and I are together now.”

“What about Godt?”

“He said he likes me, but there’s nothing more to it.”

He stopped asking questions until we reached the dressing room. I was about to go and get our stuff when P’Kim stopped me and held my hand.

I turned to look and his face has turned serious now. He looked around before saying,
“I also like you, Bas. Can I jump in and join Tae and Godt in this battle for your heart?”
