When I was driving home last night I couldn't help but wonder if it was because of me that there weren't a lot of people at Jack's place. I mean, the first day I went by the place, it was crowded with people everywhere then half empty the next.
I admit, I was a bit shaken up the first day because I wasn't sure what to expect. Now, I understand a little about what my mother meant about Jack. I gave him a chance and he seemed an alright man. He wasn't rude, drunk or mean. I know some days will have its ups and downs but, if he did have those people leave it shows he was trying for me. Jack must've thought since I was scared the other day I would easily be scared off.
Little did he know, when I was young as I could remember. Grandfather liked to have armed guards by his side. They of course taught me how to defend myself, if  I had any problems.

Or I could just easily give Felix a call.

After taking a shower this morning I went down to eat breakfast. Noticing Juliet was already in the kitchen.

"Good morning Juliet" I said, sitting in front of my plate at the table.

"Good morning to you too. I'll be going to the market today. Would you like me to pick up anything for you?" She asked.

"Just some more Cocoa Pebbles I might be home a little more late than usual. I never got much done at the shop yesterday so I'll be over there if you need anything or wanna stop by."

"Alright, I may stop by and drop off some lunch for you, if you'd like?"

"Yeah, that'll be nice" I said, before she took off.

Needing to get my day started, I put my plate in the sink & headed to my car.

Pulling up to the shop still not seeing a lot of people out in about. I'd have to ask Jack about it when I saw him.
Unlocking the door to the shop I got busy right away. I put tape around all the edge's of everything in all the rooms that I didn't want to get paint on. Once I got all that done I went to the car to get the extra paint I got yesterday.
Having my back turned, getting the paint out of the trunk. I heard someone walking towards me. Turning around thinking it might be Damien, it's not. It's three chicks around my age coming my way. They had on the most revealing looking clothes I'd ever seen. If you could even call them clothes. Their faces were caked with all kinds of makeup. The blonde chick in the front stopped with the other two flanking her, chewing on there bubble gum looking me up and down like I was shit off the bottom of there shoes, with their hands on their hips.
The blonde chick finally decided to talk "I don't know who you think you are coming here like this! Having Jack running everyone off without telling anybody. Why? Just to find out a little rich bitch like you coming here to open her shop! And finding out Damien has eyes on you. I don't think so! This is our turf Bitch!" she screeched, pissed.

Ah! ha! So that's what this is about.

"You, watch it Bitch! you don't know me. Speak to me like that again and I'll fuck up that little ugly cake face of yours" I replied, a little more annoyed than irritated at the moment. I was about to turn and not give a shit at what they thought until they decided to come at me.
Knowing the skinny little bitches probably didn't know how to fight. I was going to take it a little easy on them. So, I kicked the first bitch's feet out from underneath her watching as she fell. Then punched the next one on the side of her face, quickly moving my head back before she could grab my hair. Then hit her on the side of her rib cage, knocking the breath out of her. Then I had to quickly swing my elbow backwards and kick the last chick in the kneecap, watching her fall backwards on her ass. Seeing as they were getting back up to come after me. I kicked each one of them in the side of the stomach for good measure till they just laid there.
Deciding they had enough, I headed back over to the car to get the paint out setting it on the ground like nothing happened. That's when I saw Jack and Damien running out of the club with a few other people.

"What the hell happened?" Jack asked. Looking at the bitch's on the ground, then back at me.

"They came over to me running their mouth about how you made everyone leave your club. Finding out it was because of me they decided to jump me. So I kicked their asses a little" I explained, not feeling guilty at all.

"Marcus, Doug get those girls outta here. I don't wanna catch them back here again. You know what to do if they come back" Jack said, to the two guys that came over with him.

"Sorry about that-" Jack said, trying to apologise.

I cut him off before he could continue.

"It's alright Jack, I was wondering why there weren't a lot of people out in about like the first time I came. You don't have to run people off for me, I can handle it" I say, defending myself.

"Alright, if that's what you'd like" he said.

" Thanks"

" You need any help?" he asked, nodding at the shop.

"No, I'm all good. I could've hired some guys but, I like to do some things myself to have something to do" I said.

"Alright, just let me know if you need anything" he offered, again.

" I will, thanks for the offer" I said.

Just when Damien was about to talk to me Jack spoke to him.

"Come on Damien! We have shit to finish up. Let her be to get stuff done. You'll have all day tomorrow to talk with her" He said.

"Alright Jack" Damien said, before looking at me.

"You'll be here tomorrow won't you?" He asks.

" Yes" I reply.

" I'll see you tomorrow then" he said, before walking away with Jack.

Once Jack and Damien left I took my paint cans in the shop. It's like every time I go out for paint someone has something to say.

Oh, well! I thought to myself.

Getting back to work I painted the whole waiting room white. Then continued through out the whole shop. Tomorrow when the paints dry I'll be able to start on designs. When I was done painting for the day I sat at my secretary desk and pulled out my cell phone.
When I was about to hit the talk button Juliet walked in with my lunch.

"This is a nice place you got here. Let me know when you're all done and I'll bring over some plants and things" She said, putting my lunch on the desk.

" Yeah, that'll be nice, thanks" I say.

" Well, enjoy! I better get home to put the groceries away" she said.

"Thanks again" I say, before she leaves.

For the rest of the day I was on the phone ordering ink and the supplies that the shop would need. When I started feeling tired I decided to lock up head home for the night.
