Emerald's POV

I never expected where we went for dinner. I thought it would be one of the luxurious restaurants in London. I was hungry and craving for a delicious English cuisine.

"Where's your car?" I asked Harry when we were outside the palace. He said he'd take me out for dinner.

"It's in front of you."

I looked at the motorbike parked in front of me with two helmets dangling on the hand grips.

"Oh, no... no... I won't ride on that... thing." I was scared of riding a motorbike. It would be my first time, if ever. I read too many articles about people died in a motorcycle accident. I did not want to take the risk.

"Why not? It's fun." Harry took the two helmets, giving the other one to me.

I shook my head, not taking the helmet. "I'm scared... That's not safe to ride."

"Don't you trust me?"

I thought about it again. Should I take the risk? Or not. I knew Harry would not do anything to put my life in danger. I trusted him in coming here in London. Even my family trusted him. He would not do anything to betray that trust.

I took the helmet and put it on my head. Harry helped me by securing the clips of the helmet on my chin. The anxiety I felt slowly faded and replaced with an unexplainable excitement.

Harry started the engine of the motorbike and I hopped in behind him, pulling my dress up and securing it between my legs.

I did not know where to put my hands. On his shoulders, arms or waist. So I decided at the side of his waist. But he pulled my hands and let my arms wrapped around his waist.

"Ready?"

"I'm ready." I said and he drove the motorbike.

The very air around us seemed electrified. The dizzying current connecting us was so strong. It took my breath away. My heart danced with excitement being so close to him. Like I wanted to be here always. I never felt this kind of feeling before - in my entire life. I felt free, like a bird soaring high.

We left the motorbike and went to the crowded night market. There were plenty of choices of food, making me hungrier. We ordered Indian, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, American and Jamaican food.

"This is so good! This is the best butter chicken I've ever tasted." I dipped another piece of  naan in the butter chicken sauce.

He chuckled. " Better than your chef made in your house?"

I nodded, then drank my soda.

He took a piece of California maki, dipping it in the soy sauce and placed it on my plate. I took a bite of the Jamaican Pattie, and put it back on his plate. We were actually sharing the foods. I've never done this with anyone before, of course other than my family. It was another of my first time.

"I've never eaten so much in my life. The food was so delicious." There were a large variety of  international cuisine. There were other food I wanted to try, like the spicy noodles. "I'm going to get fat if I come here often."

He laughed again, then said. "You have... " He pointed the side of my lips.

I wiped my lips with the table napkin, but he shook his head.

"You're making it worse. Here let me do it." He wiped my lips with the table napkin and I felt suddenly conscious.

After our dinner, we went to a hill to look at the scenery of the city. We were sitting on a bench, talking about our lives and families.

"Where's your parents? They also live here in England, right?"

"Yeah. They're in Kensington. Mom is happier being back here in England. She got reunited with her family again." He fixed his gaze on me and his voice was so deep. "One of these days, we can visit them if you want."

"I'd love that. It's been so long since I've seen them."

"Yeah, you'll get to see London too." London was Harry's twin sister. She was always in New York. I guessed she preferred New York rather than England.

"Do you have any idea of the design of the crown?"

"Hmm... I have some ideas running in my mind, I have to draw the designs tomorrow. I'll show it to you when I'm done. I'll need your suggestions though."

"Sure. Anyways, I haven't showed you the whole palace yet. We can do it tomorrow. I'm not too busy in the afternoon." He suggested.

"Yes, please. Thank you." I spoke eagerly. "Um... you haven't introduced me to Prince Philip yet."

He stared at me, like observing me. "Do you like him?"

"What?" I was surprised by his question. I felt my face heated with embarrassment.

"Sorry. I just noticed that you're very eager to meet the prince."

"I'm just curious, okay."

He nodded and smiled at me. Then he moved closer. His arm brushing against mine. I could feel the heat of his body like electricity, radiating on me. We were sitting together, staring at the city lights.
