A whole week passed and I didn't see her. I woke up early one morning to grab breakfast from downstairs.
I saw a plate of pancakes on the counter along with a note from my Mom;
We're at a conference in Sacramento, Be back on Saturday! Katie is sleeping over with Ellie -Mom
I started to eat. Two nights without parents and a sister would be nice. It'd be nicer with a girlfriend I can actually communicate with.
Almost right on cue, my phone rang. It was her.
"James!" She gasped when I answered.
"Hey, I've missed you." I smiled while eating my bacon.
"My parents went to visit their friends in Oregon who had a baby and they just gave me my phone back. I would've talked sooner but they would've murdered me." She sighed.
"Wait, your home alone?" I asked her.
"yeah, why?" She though for a moment. "JAMES YOU CANT COME OVER THEY'LL MURDER ME!" She screamed.
"No that's not what I meant." I laughed. "My parents are gone for two nights. Just come over for a bit." I suggested.
"Okay, they can't find out though." She sighed.
"Yeah, I'll see you soon." I smiled.
"Bye." She hung up and I continued eating. I couldn't wait to see her again, It had felt like forever. I just hoped her parents would never find out.
