Rosé's POV
I'm not surprised that recent pictures of me with an obvious baby bump started to spread online and in the korean media like wildfire. YG immediately contact me and we came up to a decision for them to release an official statement that admits about my pregnancy. I mean there is no use of denying it but we did not give more specific details about it.
I'm already six months pregnant now and my body is starting to feel the hardships of pregnancy. Morning sickness is already out of the picture but I started feel back pains and cramps.
Alice unnie and I are now here at the hospital. Today is my schedule for an ultrasound. Finally the gender of my baby will be revealed. I'm so excited for today. I don't even get enough sleep because of my excitement. I told my members about it too.
As we are waiting for my turn to be called, my phone startled me as it rings. I checked it to know who is calling and it's none othe than Ms. Lalisa Manoban. I answered it immediately.
"Hel--" but she cut off me as I answered
"Chaeyoung-ie!!!!!. How was the ultrasound?Tell me what is the gender. Please" she excitedly asked me
"Chaeyoung-ah we missed you and your baby too.hehehe" i hear Jisoo and Jennie unnie at the background
"I missed you too unnies!!" I replied
"Yah!Park Chaeyoung!.Did you hear my question?Anwer me please"
"Hahahaha!!Lalisa Lalisa!.it seems like you are more excited than me. We are still here at the hospital waiting for my turn on the scheduled ultrasound"
"Oops!!Sorry!!.hahaha. Just tell us once you are done and knew about it"
I was about to reply to her when i hear someone called my name
"Park Chaeyoung? It's your turn!" it was the nurse calling
"Here!" Alice unnie raised her an as she answered for me
I got back on my phone and talk to Lisa again
"Lisa?sorry about that. I need to hung up now, the nurse already called my name. I need to enter the ultrasound room now. Let's do a video call later once we return home okay!?!. I missed you guys so much!
"Okay!.We missed you too. We will wait for your call later. Our unnies and I are so excited too to know the gender of your baby. Take Care.Bye!!" Lisa said and she ended the call
Alice unnie and I went inside the room where my doctor is waiting.
"Good Morning Chaeyoung, Alice" he said
"Good Morning Oppa!" Unnie and I both replied
My doctor's name is Danny. Danny Kim. He is a childhood friend of ours though he is older than us for a few years, we are really close to each other specially me. Even right after I went to Korea to train and debut we still maintain the closeness and our friendship. He is the friend of mine whom Jungkook accused and asked if he is the father of my baby.
"I know you are so excited for today so let's proceed" Danny oppa said
"Will this take long?" unnie curiosly asked and nervousness is so evident on her voice
"No Alice, it will only take few minutes" he replied as he guide me towards the bed
I was so excited earlier but i'm too nervous now. I slowly lay down on the bed as I wait for him for the procedure
"Chaeyoung kindly lift up your shirt, just enough to show your full baby bump" oppa ordered me to do
He gently put a gel like substance on my belly,he gently place and roam around a thing on my belly which i know to be a part of that ultrasound equipment.
Unnie is holding my hand so tight and we're both silent. We are to focused on what Danny Oppa was doing.
We suddenly hear something that broke the silence in the room.
It was my baby's heartbeat and I'm hearing it for the first time. I can't describe the happiness i'm feeling right now. Tears started to come out from my eyes. Alice unnie saw my reaction, she gently wiped my tears and smiled at me.
"That is your baby's heartbeat Chaeyoung"
he said then he pointed his finger at the monitor of the ultrasound equipment.
"Here Chae, Alice, we can clearly see the gender"
"What?!?.I mean what is the gender of Chaeyoung's baby?!"unnie asked excitedly, I am excited too but my heart keeps on pounding hard.
"It's a girl Chaeyoung!!.A baby girl" Danny oppa said
"A--a-are you sure oppa?" cant help myself from stuttering and my tears won't stop from falling because of this unexplainable happiness I'm feeling right now.
"Yes Chae, and its good that everything is normal."
"Okay oppa!Thank you so much" i replied then unnie help me to got up from the bed
"Here" oppa said as he handed me a piece of paper. It was the printout of my ultrasound result. The first picture of my baby.
I think its just the basic instict, the first thing i did as I got the paper is planted a kiss on it and hug it and gently place it on my chest as if its really my baby
"My baby..my baby girl..mom loves you so much" i whispered to myself almost unknowingly.
Oppa said more of the few things regarding on my pregnancy and said our goodbye's
"Oppa we will go now. Thank you for today" i said
"Okay!..Take care of yourself and your baby. remember all the things I told you. Just text or call me if you feel anything strange on your pregnancy"
" I will oppa, Thanks again"
"Bye oppa" it was alice unnie
We head outside and ready to go home. I'm so excited to share this news to my parents and my members.
