Jungkook POV
i stood at Chaeyoung's room door step for god knows how long until i finally got to courage to enter her room. The baby pink cot besides Chaeyoung's bed is the first thing that caught my eye. i was so nervous like my heart is going to pop out of my heart. i took a long breathe and slowly go towards my angel
the moment i saw her, my beautiful angel, took me back to the day the first time i lay my eyes on her mom. like it is surreal. and now my own blood and flesh in front of me.
i slowly scoot over the side of her crib as i was trying to reach for cute little fingers i was startled when Ella opened her eyes and starts crying. i'm dumbfounded. i don't know what to do. did i startled her?.its been minutes but she won't stop crying. to my instinct i slowly move closer to the cot again and reach for my
angel, i carefully lift her up with my outmost care, like i'm holding on the most precious human being in my hands.
"sshhh...Ella..i'm your Appa..please don't cry"
the moment i held her close to my chest she stops crying. i can't explain the feeling. my lips form into a smile and i felt a tear drop on my face
"yes my angel..thats my girl..Appa is here.." i said as i plant a slight kiss on her forehead
"you really look a lot like me..you are really my own"
i sat on Chaeyoung's bed with Ella still on my arms. minutes passed i hear my phone ring, i slowly put Ella to her crib and answer the call. it was Jisoo noona.
"yes noona?"
"is everything okay?. is Ella still asleep?" Jisoo asked
"yes noona. she already woke up few minutes ago" i excitedly answer and glance at baby Ella at her crib
"can i ask you a favor?"
"what is it?.i'll be glad to help"
"actually its time for Ella to drink her milk, there is baby milk cooler at the bedside table take one of the milk bottle and fed her but first check diapers if it is needed to be changed. i'll just prepare our lunch, Jin oppa and Lisa are busy fighting and playing here in my room. can you manage?"
"don't worry noona i will and its about time for me be familiar with things like this"
"okay. i'll just call you if its time to eat, enjoy your time with Ella, she's a little bit of i cry baby like her mom" Jisoo jokingly said
"hahaha.thanks noona" then our call ends
i check on Ella's diapers and changed it just like what noona said. i inclinedly lean my back at Chaeng's headboard as i started to feed Ella, she was so cute sucking on her milk bottle. i positioned her at my chest to make her burp, i actually learn this from my mom. we stay like that and Ella is not burping at all. i slowly lay down with her still in my chest,i gently wrap one my arms around her and my eyes turn heavy and was drifted away to sleep
Jisoo POV
i glanced at my wrist watch as i wait for Jin Oppa and Lisa to come here at the dining are so we can now have our lunch. i was about to call Lisa again and thank god they are now out of my room. i've been calling them a thousand times already but they are so intotheir game. Lisa sat beside me and oppa opposite to us.
"where is Kookie?" Jin asked
"he is asleep. i set aside some food for him so he can eat once he is awake" i explained
we took and finished our lunch while Lisa and Jin oppa bickering. Jin oppa started to was the dishes, me cleaning the table while Lisa is sweeping the floor when we are interrupted by the sound of front door opening and a voice of a giddy woman.
"Unnie!!!?..Lili?..i'm back..how's Ella??". it was Chaeyoung...
Oppa, Lisa and me stood froze in our feet while looking at each other. and before we knew Chaeyoung is already in front of us shocked and confused as he glanced at Jin Oppa who is froze in front of the sink
"What is Jin Oppa doing here?"
"ahh...Chaeng..i-i- i invited oppa to play.we just finished our meal and he will be preparing to leave now" Lisa stuttered
I know Chaeng is not convinced. i can feel it
"I'll just get my phone. i forgot to tell Jennie to buy some stuffs" i said. i was about to walked out of the dining area
"stop unnie" Chaeyoung said quietly but i know she was just trying to control her emotion
"he's here too right?.he is here?".
"Chaeng..i-..actually..i was.." and before i finished what i am saying Chaeyoung was already sprinting towards her room.
i signaled Oppa and Lisa to stop as a run to follow Chaeng to stop her but then it is too late. as i reach her doorstep her room is now open and then i found her standing few steps away from her bed with her eyes staring at Jungkook lying on his bed with Ella on his chest, both are sleeping soundly.
i slowly walked out of her room and silently close the door.
