79 - I can't hate her even if I wanted to

Nivi's pov

I really wanted to keep this fast for him this is the only thing I can do for him. But I was not sure that I can complete the task because starving even for more than 3 hours is really difficult for me . It can't even stand stable if I don't eat properly . But I decided to do it. 3 hours passed my stomach was growling, 6 hours passed I was weak dadi made me sit inside the pooja room and I was not even on my senses after spending some time there what I was most afraid it happened . My headache somehow I withstand it but not anymore. I slowly stood from there and walked towards my room. I was dizzy and can't even took a step properly. By sitting on stairs again took one step again resting like that I went to my room. I shut my eyes tightly and endure the pain to maximum. No this is not going to work. I bite my pillows because of pain . I was sweating all over , my heart was beating unevenly. I sat on my bed keeping my head down . Without taking more than 5 minutes my nose began to bleed.

I was crying in pain , it was like I am going to die on next minute. I walked slowly towards my bathroom and stand under the cold shower. I wanted to cool my head . I got little relaxation from that I stood there for 15 minutes . I was shivering and it was not good for me. I heard Ganga was banging on the bathroom door.

" What is it Ganga" I asked with all my energy because even wispering in that condition was difficult for me.

" Mam, your dress for evening function is here, dadi wants you to wear this" she said

" Keep it on my bed , I will wear it"
I said.

" Mam , it's a saree" she said.

Ohhhhhhh, why garndma ? why?

" Ganga you just keep it there. I will call you if I need any help" I said .

I think she left . I got out from bathroom and changed in to my casuals. I saw the saree that dadi gave me. Eventhough I don't like the sarees but this one is beautiful , it was a red saree . Time was 7.15 by evening I came out from the room Inorder to call Ganga to help me wearing the saree. I saw shruthi was rushing out with some shopping bags in her hand and she was also wearing a red saree but not good as mine. I don't know where is she going this time?

Ganga was helping me to wear the saree but I was not able stand properly. Looking at my uneaseness she enquired many times whether I am ok or not? Finally everything is set.

I went downstairs and joined with my sister in-laws. Mom and Divya bhabhi were preparing the Pooja thali whereas Gouri bhabhi and Jhanvi bhabhi was arranging sweets on plates. I really wanted to join them , but my body doesn't allowed it. So I sat beside by grandma. Everyone was present there except shruthi and siddarth. Dad enquired about him and told me to try his phone. I was switched off my phone from noon because I am sure that Ronitha di will call to warn me about fasting. My vision was blurred but somehow I dialled his number but there wasn't any response. After that dad , Abi bhayya, Viren bhayya almost everyone tried his phone but no response . Time was already 8 so I told them to carry on with their Pooja . We all went to the garden and started Pooja. It was a beautiful scenery , dad and mom, Abi bhayya and Divya bhaabi, Viren bayya and Gouri bhabhi it's was really heart whelming. Dadu and dadi were watching their kids with love and Vikram bhayya and Jhanvi bhabhi were standing very close to each other , Jhanvi bhabhi doesn't keep the fast due to her pregnancy. I was the odd one out there , I was feeling alone still I maintained to plaster a smile on my face. After Pooja we went inside and everyone was looking at me sympathetically which I hate most.

I told everyone to have their dinner not to bother about me. After insisting many times they ate together. Time was 10 already still he didn't come. Meanwhile shruthi was back and went straight to the room without talking to anyone. Dad tried his office number no response. My mind was disturbed thinking that whether he is fine or not? After trying Everyone Abi bhayya started to go to his office but within that time he took the phone. Everyone was yelling at him , I told them to stop shouting and tell him to come fast. They noticed that I am not ok and my face was paler. Dadi told me to go and take some rest and I went to my room.
