114 - over-protective

Nivi's pov

Our honeymoon plan to Paris got cancelled because siddarth have to attend a very important case and he is busy with that. The main thing I hate about him is when he gets involved in his work he will be completely concentrated  in that and he ignores me and it's going to around one week we had sex properly.  Only couple of times in this whole week and that was like he is doing it only for his satisfaction. I felt really weird and sad when he does like that. I am a girl and I also have feelings.

He came back to house very late and at that time I would have already slept . For these past one week I didn't even get a chance to talk to him properly. I am bored to death by staying at home itself there was nothing to do for me even the house cores are done by servants and all others were busy with their own works.

My mother in law , and my favourite poetress Mrs Nandini Indrajeet Singh Khurana's new book is going to be published today so mom gave me an invitation to attend the function. There I met a man who had took my phone mistakenly because both of our phone looked same. I only understood that when I began to get some weird phone calls. But later he himself came back with my phone and we both exchanged our phones.

" I am really sorry please don't mind . " He apologized to me

" No it's ok , and thanks for returning it safely. " I thanked him . Suddenly I noticed his ID card and I got to know that he is a journalist.

" Oh you are a journalist " I asked .

" Yes , oh sorry let me introduce myself , hai  I am Sudheep Sha . Working at CBS news channel as a journalist " he forwarded his hand for a handshake and I also responded with the same

" Myself Nivedita Verma , ops... I mean Nivedita Singh Khurana "

" What was that ? " He asked me with a smile

"My name is Nivedita Verma but after marriage it changed to Nivedita Siddharth Singh Khurana " I said.

" Oh so you are married , you don't look like one and  that was really a surprise " he chuckled

" Yes "

" Hmmm, wait a minute , so           Nandini Indrajeet Singh Khurana?" He asked me with a wide opened eyes.

" Guess right , my mother in law " I said with a smile.

" Wow that's great.  So what are you doing now? Working or studying?  " he asked me.

" Nothing special. Before I used to worked as a investigation journalist that's why I got excited after seeing your ID card " I said.

" Oh really , then why didn't you continue your job " he asked

" It's just that , some problems came and I had to quit it . Now I am married so job is not an option now " I said

" No no , you can't think like that . A smart and pretty girl like you can't spoil your career just because of marriage. " All of sudden he became serious 

" As I told you I am working at CBS news channel  . If you are interested I can help you . Don't waste your career girl. " He advised me to get a job but I was not sure about it because I haven't even asked permission from Siddarth and don't know whether he will allow me or not.

" Ok if you can't give me an answer now let it be . Here keep my card if you are willing then give me a ring ok ? " He passed me his contact card. And I received it .

After Azad's incident I never thought becoming a journalist again but now I am having second thoughts about it. I think I should try it again and siddarth is the big problem that I want to deal with .
