97 - Mystery box reveled the mystery

Sid's pov

When I asked Nivedita to recall what happens at that night I saw her uneaseness . Her body was shaking due to fear .

" It's okay Nivedita you don't have to stress yourself take your own time. " Aadarsh said while Patting on her back.

" All those memories were kept deep inside me . I never wanted to open it . Siddarth my head is aching severely " Nivi said while keeping her both hands on head.

" Nivedita it's okay . If you can't then let it be . I can't see you in pain " I caught her hands on me and gently rub them to make her at ease.

Aadarsh handed her a glass of warm water to keep her calm. After taking a sip she slowly rested on couch for sometime.

" Guys I think she needs some rest now . I am taking her with me " I said and get ready to stand up from couch.
But suddenly Nivi's hand stopped me and I sit back to couch .

" I am fine its just because I was trying to recollect those memories. I remember guys , that day it was the most beautiful day of my life before all those mishaps. It was the day Azad proposed me with a ring and I was excited to introduce him to my family. I know they won't accept him or me but still I wanted to take blessings from my grandparents and dad. So we both decided take a flight which was at 8 o'clock. Some days back I got a news lead from my informant Which was about Kareem Lala and land Mafia. Out team already closed his file once we all faced death infront of us. But this time the lead was good and we can easily trap everyone. But Azad hesitated to take that lead by our group instead he alone started to investigate everything and collected many proofs against those men. The day when I was waiting for him at airport I got to know about these matters . Azad just sent me a voicemail that he was sorry for me .I was well aware that where he would have gone. Without thinking I just ran towards that place. I may seem like a stupid girl to you but when you began to love someone other than him you won't see anything . " A drop of tear fell from her eyes. I gently rubbed her shoulders inorder to Console . I clucthed her body with mine and she was resting on my shoulders. I always want to be her strength while she is weak I can proudly say that she will be safe and secure in my hands.

" But when I reached there it was bit late . Kareem Lala and his goons already caught Azad and I never got to see the face of his boss . There were 3 people who was standing beside a posh car and seemed like important and one was a girl. During their verbal arguments one man in his suit stabbed that girl . I saw his face very clearly . Siddarth it was not Azad who stabbed Shruthi it was another guy from her side itself Azad was trying to save her but he alone can't withstand with them . I am saying the truth Siddarth it was not Azad " Nivi cried miserably hugging my chest and she crushed by shirt with her fist.

"Ok ok , I know I get it. It was not Azad . Please don't cry Nivedita " I clucthed her tightly.

" After that what happened? " Veer asked

" I got frightened and all of sudden my phone rang . To my bad luck they heard me . I tried to run from there before they could see my face. Only Azad recognised me and he Started to fight with those goons and he told me to run from there. I really don't wanted to leave him alone with those dreadful people but it was better to run other than giving more headache to Azad. Without looking back I began to ran 3 or 4 goons were still chasing behind me. I heard the sound of guns . I don't know who shooted whom? Did Azad really shooted those goons ? Or whether they put all blames on his shoulders ? I don't know anything about that. Atlast all I remember was a truck hit me and before I closed my eyes my blood was flowing from my head " Nivi said with a trembling voice . Her hands were shaking crazily and allover she was sweating . I took some tissues and pat dried her face. She was still crying.

"And you were at hospital for about 4 months and that was in a comma stage. " Aadarsh added. She shook his head.

" And rest of the story we know what happened " Aashish said.

" Sid how are we going to proceed this. Nivi's statement won't take by court because time gap is huge. We don't have any other solid proofs " Veer asked me.

" I know this is not going to be an easy task. If there is no other way we will reopen the case. Everything will start from the beginning. Before that we have to confirm about that man who stabbed Shruthi . Most probably it should be Raguveer . " I said .

" Who is that ? " Nivi asked us with her fainted voice.

" Raguveer , he is the younger brother of Rudra . Raguveer Pradap Rathore. He is missing from that day and nobody knows where he went. Actually Nivedita I will show you his photo please confirm that the guy who stabbed Shruthi was Raguveer or not. " I took my phone and searched for his photo. Fortunately there was one which took during the time of Ridhima di marriage. I showed it to her. She examined the photo for a couple of minutes and jumped from her seat.

" Ya it's him siddarth I guarantee . It's him. So he is the younger brother of Rudra . Oh god what is happening ? " She said with a tensed voice.

" Guys I am going to reopen this case . Veer , Aashish help me with its procedures . I want to get all the previous forensic papers and materials related to this case and you guys have to take it very seriously because I don't think so we can get those that much easier since Rudra has his bloody hands on everything. " I instructed them what they wanted to do . Mean while I checked my contact list Inorder to find a number which I need at this moment . only he can help me with this case reopening.

Veer and Aashish were trying someone on their phone inorder to get the old forensic files of Azad's case. Problems were not solving and it was coming like one after another.

Nivedita was talking with Aadarsh actually it's good , that will help her to relax a bit. Poor girl in this short life time she had sufferd a lot . I am envious about Azad that he got a girl like her Other than Nivedita who will wait for a man even though he is a murderer. After I done with my call I shoved back the phone into my pocket suddenly something struck my hand from pocket. With a furrowed eyebrows I took that from my pocket Inorder to take a look. It was my wooden box which Divya bhabhi handed me at this morning.

I was playing with that while sipping some wiskey from the glass but suddenly the box get mishandled and it falls on the floor. It rolled and rolled and finally stopped at Nivi's foot. Aadarsh took it from the floor and began to pass it back to me but to our surprise Nivedita snatched that box from his hands and she was staring at the box. Her eyes get teary and she holds that box tightly with her both hands and began to kiss it with her tears.
