127 - A true love story

Siddarth's pov

I have no idea about what Ronitha wants to say and we both were confused as we moved to Aadarsh cabin in the hospital. Whatever she wants to explain about today's incident will not be enough for me because even thinking about killing my child is beyond my imagination. So I was predetermined that whatever she says I am not going to forgive neither Nivi nor Ronitha.

" Tell me  fast what you wanted to say ? I don't have much time to waste for this " I said like I don't have much interest in this conversation. Aadarsh was sitting on his chair and I was sitting on the couch. Ronitha stood inbetween us. She had a mixed expressions on her face like seriousness, tension,  anxiousness like everything was there.

" Ronitha are you going to say something ? If yes then please because whatever you want to say after that I have alots of questions for you " I hold that serious expression on my face firmly.

" I don't know from where to start? or how to explain things?  . Whatever i am going to say now is actually siddarth , you have to hear it from Nivi itself but now I don't think so she will do that " again and again without coming to the main point she was beating the bushes.

" Ronitha come to the point . I know what you want to say ? . Whatever lame excuses you have Inorder to cover up your mistakes they are not going to be enough for me but still I want to hear it" I said with a sarcastic smile.

" Lame excuse ? Huh ! Yeah okay you decide whether it's lame one or not because for me it's about my little sister's life " a sarcasm was definitely hidden behind her words.

"Siddarth .. ..   (few seconds  silence) Nivi is a dying pateint "  what Ronitha said was like a thunder I didn't get what she actually said.

" Nivi is a what ? " I asked again but when I looked at Aadarsh his face seemed to be shocked.

" Nivi , that girl she don't have much time siddarth .  Each and every minute she is dying  more precisely she is  preparing to bid farewell from everyone. She is leaving us  "  what ? What rubbish she is talking now ? Where is my Nivi going? What she meant by Nivi is a dying pateint? All questions striked into my mind like a hurricane.

I wanted to ask many things but my body and mouth ditched me. They  doesn't allowed me to do anything. I realised that I am completely freezed now , I felt my throat dried up and words stucked inside my throat itself. My mind was working but I felt my heart stopped beating.

I looked at Aadarsh who stood up from his chair in a shock.

" It may sound like rubbish that is the bitter truth I wanted to share. I will explain everything from the starting itself but siddarth you have to listen to me before getting overreacted " she left a sigh and continued her conversation.

Me and Aadarsh both listened to Ronitha till end with much patience but there was some situations I broked into tears supported myself by sitting on the couch otherwise I would have fainted into the floor.

" No , no I won't believe this , I don't " I screamed.

" You have to , because that's the truth . Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis that's the medical name of this illness . Aadarsh I think you got it" Ronitha looked at Aadarsh.

" Yeah CVST  I have heard about it ,  but how she .... ? " He asked with a shivering voice.

I was not getting what they're saying only thing  I understood is that whatever happened with my Nivi or what happening with her now is nothing good.

" What's all these ? Ronitha explain me clearly  I am not getting anything? " I screamed.

"  Siddarth, Nivi have some clots on her ceribral nerves which will block the blood flow towards her brain  and with time  without getting enough care and  treatment the clot will expand and now she is in her severe condition now which means her life is in danger.
Everything started from that accident which took place an year back I think you know about it siddarth. With a serious head injury and  she was in a coma stage for months. Even after gaining consciousness she ignored medicines and doctor's advices which affected her health severally because she was running behind Azad's case and for Nivi he was her life.  Later at an unexpected situation she was diagnosed with this illness . Aadarsh your brother Dr Aahil was her consulting doctor  and during that time I was his intern but when I got to know about her condition it was late. I got to know about this just few days before you and Avantika's engagment and you guys should have seen I am shouting at Nivi at Varma house " Rewinding to past yes I remember that day . Nivi was crying and Ronitha was scolding her very much but at the same time Ronitha was also crying.
