Y/N's pov
I saw Will in the middle of the neighborhood. I saw everything he saw. It was like I was him. I saw this monster. It's like a giant shadow. Something doesn't feel right.
I woke up finally and saw I was laying in a bed. It was one I recognized. It's Janes. Seconds later hopper comes in. His worried face scared me. Did something bad happen?
"Hey Uh... so I have to go see Will's Mom. Apparently something happened with him. I'll be back soon. Don't fight with Jane. Bye." He hurried. My mind clicked and I ran after him.
"I need to come with." I state. Hopper doesn't buy it and keeps walking to the door.
"You don't understand. I saw what he saw from his episode. The static showed me." I explain. Hopper sighed and tossed me a jacket.
"Let's go kid." He smirked and we headed out the door.
Mike's pov
I'm over at wills house right now. Apparently hoppers coming over to check if he's okay and just check in with Joyce. I just hope Will's okay. We talked for a little after we went trick or treating.
All of a sudden hopper comes through the door. His eyes meet mine and he slowly backs out of the doorframe. I saw somebody else but I couldn't tell who they were.
Hoppers pov
I see Mike sitting on the couch and slowly back away. I didn't know he would be here. He can't see Y/N just yet. It's to dangerous. I pull Y/N down the driveway and start to talk.
"I need to get you home now." I state. Her eyes have hurt and concern in them.
I saw her look towards the house and just stare for a minute.
"Mike?" She asked. I sigh and nod.
"Listen. He can't see you right now, not until I get you and Jane cleared from Hawkins lab." I explain. She put her head down and nods.
"When can I see Mike again?" She asked. I shake my head and stroke my beard.
"I just said, when I get you and Jane cleared." I say and we continue walking to the car.
"Y/N!?" I heard Mike shout. Y/N turned around and saw Mike standing at the door. Great.
Y/N's pov
Without any of hoppers consent, I run to Mike and hug him the tightest I've ever hugged someone. I felt so warm and safe in his arms. I knew we had to help Joyce and Will but I wanted to spend individual time with Mike.
"Is el okay?" Mike asked. I tighten my fists and nod.
"Shes okay." I respond with a tired tone. Mike nods and hugs back tighter.
"I think we need to check on Will now." I say pulling away from his hug. We all pile into Joyce's living room and try to help Joyce calm down.
Most of the time hopper was just talking with Joyce. Nothing wrong with that. I was sitting with Will and mike.
"So, How and where have you been Y/N?" Will asked while looking at me concerned. At least he actually cared about me.
"Uh.. erm... I'm not sure if I can tell you where I've been. I've been okay though. Life's treating me alright. Other than Jane getting all mad and crap at me." I laugh a little. Mike and Will's face turn confused for a moment.
"Who's Jane?" Mike asked. I go wide eyed and try to change the subject.
"So, How have you guys been?" I ask. Will nods and looks down.
"You know.. staying alive." Will comments. I nod and feel the awkwardness rise.
"Okay. Mostly been hanging with the boys ya know." Mike says. That didn't even sound like him. I look over to Will and see him looking very confused at Mike.
"Sorry, I don't know... I need some air. I'll be back." Mike says and stands up. He leaves the room and closes the door.
"Is he alright?" I ask. Will shrugs and looks at the door.
"He's changed. Just the way he thinks and sees things. All because of this whole incident with you and el. He's very... Well... he's constantly trying to find you guys. His fun meter is dropping. It's like he's always down and depressed.
Mike's pov.
On the inside I was so over joyed to see Y/N But, I know Hopper will take her away after his little meeting with Joyce. There's no point getting attached right now. I decided to 'leave the room'. Really I was just listening to them speak about me. The way Will described me sounded odd. Is that how I'm really acting? I mean I know I've been acting different but...
"I'm worried about him. He didn't have much of a reaction when he saw me. He was more worried about el, which I get, don't get me wrong but, I was the source of finding her. It's just kinda strange." Y/N says. I could practically hear the disappointment in her voice. She's making me feel kinda bad. Now I wish I would have done my initial reaction. Damn I missed her so much.
