Alex POV
After we had a fun weekend Jo and I took the kids out to dinner. They are no longer kids but it was fun while it lasted. I kind of want another one, but I don't think Jo will like that. I just wait for one of them to have kids. Jo gets paged right after dinner and runs off. So, the kids and I went home and cleaned up along with making chocolate lava cake. Jo wasn't home for awhile but around midnight she walked in the door. She looked exhausted.
"We're gonna go to sleep," Rowan says leaving the room.
"We are?" The older two ask.
"Yes we are."
"Oh cause that's what I want to do right now.... have sex" Jo tells Rowan.
"GROSS" Emma tells us.
Jo lays on the couch for a good two minutes before we go to bed. We sleep really well.
The next day
When we wake up the children are gathered in the kitchen. Jo and I go downstairs and give them a smile. Emma and I make breakfast, Toby does the dishes, and Rowan and Jo wipe the counters. It's nice having us all back under one roof. I miss this...
