Chapter 1

Andrew pov
Andrew sat in his office eating his lunch when his secretary knocked at his door. "Come in"he replied with a stern voice .

" sir you sent for me?"his blonde secretary walked into his office .

"Few hours ago, I asked you to get me the report of the last meeting "

"Sorry sir, I actually forgot to bring it "

He stood up from his seat to get a bottle of water from his fridge,he opened the fridge and took a bottle of water from the fridge. Andrew sat on his seat "what is this?"he asked his secretary

Camilla looked at him and gave a straight answer "it's a bottle of water "

He offered her the bottle of water "have a gulp "he said while staring at her .

Camilla was surprised at his behavior she took the bottle of water which was on the table and had a sip "done sir"

"Good! It would be better if you take water every minute, it will help you,why are you always forgetfull?" Andrew yelled at her

"Ermm sir...."

Andrew cut in"just shut up,I have been observing you for the last two weeks, you are always forgetfull"

Tears began to roll down her cheeks "mr Andrew,well the thing is I haven't been myself ever since my fiancée called off our engagement "Camilla explained

Andrew sighed"I have told you never to allow your personal life mingle with your profession,have a seat"Andrew instructed her,he picked a handkerchief from his drawer and gave it to Camilla

"Thank you sir "

"Should i grant you a leave?"he asked her

"Yes sir,I think that will be the best"

He smiled "okay then you have two weeks to get over your anguish,you may leave and when you resume endeavor to come back with a smiling face"

She chuckled "I will sir"she says before leaving.

Nicole pov
Nicole sat in her sitting room with her mother "mom I have been running this hotel for so long now,and it has been running smoothly "

"I know "

Why don't you leave the family business for me to handle? I am twenty five years old,our hotel is one of the biggest and renowned five star hotel in California "

"I understand you,it's just that I will have to speak with your father first,he has the impression that you are not fit to run the empire alone, that is why your cousin Richard is assisting you "

"I'm tired of Richie bossing me around,for crying out loud he is suppose to be working under me and not the other way round mom "Nicole says while banging her hands on the sofa

"Okay I will have a discussion with your father "

Nicole pecked her mother on the cheek"thank you mom,you the best "

Ikhlas pov
Ikhlas sits in her office having a discussion on the phone "Andrew I told you I have a tight schedule today "

"I know,it's just that I miss you so much that I'm so eager to set my eyes on your beautiful face"

She smiled "okay how about tomorrow?"

"That will be fine "Andrew replied excitedly over the phone "thank you "

"Okay,can I hang up now?"Nicole asked knowing fully well Andrew will refuse

"No please don't "he begged over the phone

"What if my boss walks in?"

"Why are you scared of her? "

"She is very strict,"

"She? I thought it was a he"

"She was transferred here last week. It was better when our boss was a male he treated us like his family, but miss Nicole is too hot tempered"

"Hmmmh Nicole! Lovely name for a hot tempered lady"

Ikhlas laughed over the phone "yes"

"Okay,please don't get into trouble my love ,have a good day"he said before hanging up"
