Aisha pov
"Richie"Aisha paused for a minute "what is wrong with your cousin Nicole?"

Richie sighed "she thinks am a threat to her,if we don't join hands and won't k together,the empire will not be successful "

"On a serious note you need to talk some sense into her"

Ikhlas walks in to join the conversation "asalamualaykum "she said with a smile on her face

"Waalaykumsalam"Aisha replied with a smile on her face"how are you?"

"I'm good dear"

"Hey Ikhlas "

"Hi Richie"

"Have you seen Nicole today?"Richie asked

"Yes,she is in her office "

"Okay see you ladies later"Richie said before leaving Aisha's office

"Walahi I want to resign "

"You are joking right?"Ikhlas asked confused

"No I am not. Miss Nicole is making my job too difficult for me, haven't you noticed that she always insults the Muslim staffs in this hotel "

"Let's be patient "

She sighed "take a good look at me"Aisha stood up and turned around "I am an Hausa girl and I don't take shit, just because I am working under her does not give her the right to hallow insults at me,walahi the next time she tries such rubbish with me. She...."

Ikhlas cuts in "it's okay, don't allow her to spoil your mood"Ikhlas tries to pacify Aisha who is a hot tempered lady

Aisha breathes in and out a couple of times "okay,I am starving let's go have lunch,this country is so useless "she complained while arranging her table filled with books

Ikhlas chuckled"now what is it?"

"When I was in Nigeria, I eat tuwo,akara and all sort of Nigerian delicacies"Aisha sighed "but in California, I can't find any African restaurant here, when ever I go to a restaurant,the waitresses will serve me grasses and tell me its food"

Ikhlas laughed "you are so funny,I also miss my home food "

"Which country did you say you where from again?"

"Sudan "

"Ooo,I have a cousin who studies there"

"Mashallah, which course?" Ikhlas asked

"Medicine"

"Not bad,can we leave now? Before you talk me to death"Ikhlas said before laughing "

"Wayo Allah,so you are now calling me a talkative?"Aisha asked in a sarcastic manner

"Not at all,please lets go"

Richie pov
"May I come in?"Richie says while standing at the door

"Sure"Nicole replied while going through a fashion magazine

Richie sat down on the sofa"how is ur day going?"

"Good and yours?"she asked while busy with the fashion magazine

"Same,we really need to talk "

Nicole dropped the magazine she was going through on the table close to her"I'm all ears"

Richie cleared his throat "why do you hate me?"

"If I did hate you,your ass won't be sitting on my sofa"

"Okay why do you dislike me"

"Dear cousin, I don't like you , why don't leave me alone,your late father left you with his beverage company,why don't you go there and become the CEO?"

"So you don't want me working with you?"

"Exactly "

"Your father asked me to work in his company because am also his son,he takes me as his son. And for your information wether you succumb or not we will work together "

Nicole smirked"and if I don't budge?"

"Well lovely cousin,you have no choice because am the boss here.i love you "

"I dislike you"

Richie laughed "you don't mean it do you?"

"I do "

"But it ain't from your heart dear"

"Just leave before you drive me crazy "

"Let's go have lunch "

"Not in the mood"Nicole replied rudely

"Okay not a problem "he stood up,picked Nicole as if she was his bride "we must have lunch together

"Drop me down "she yelled while hitting him at the back

"Not possible "he said as he walked out of the office and took her to the elevator.

"These two,always full of drama "a staff said while walking pass them

Vanessa pov
Vanessa walks into a shopping mall in order to purchase groceries,she spots a familiar face which she quickly recognized. She screamed "oh my gosh "she ran towards Andrew and gave him a hug

Andrew was surprised to see Vanessa after such a long time "is this really you?"

"Of course,gosh I missed you "she said while giving him a hug again

"Missed you too,what are you doing here?"

"Am here to purchase some stuffs"

"So you base here in California?"

"Yes I do and you?"

"Yes I do base here,I lost your contact "Andrew brings out his phone from his pocket "slide in your contact details "

Vanessa collects it from Andrew "sure"she puts her contact into the phone and returns it to him

"Thanks,so what do you do for a living?"

"Am into photography "

"Wow,well am a renowned businessman,to be specific I focus mainly on electronics"

"You have got to be kidding me,back then in college you were interested in art"

"I know,but I guess this is my destiny "

"Okay,I have to go"

"I will give you a call ,bye "

Vanessa pecked Andre on cheek "bye"
