It was March 20 and the moms' and their extended family were at The Bouncy, Tunnel and Trampoline Emporium waiting on Eugene with his grandma and nana. They took to him to Birch Aquarium in the morning for a few hours so the moms' could surprise their first baby with his first birthday he would have with the family.
The other kids' were already on the play things and having fun. They screamed as they ran around and were in all the kid activities.
At Birch, "Happy Birthday Eugene!" Callie and Lexi added.
"Thank you nana and grandma. I'm finally double digits," he added as Callie ruffled his hair and he smiled as they were like the only people at Birch since it was really early. It opens at eight and it was nine. They went to see the sea life and Eugene really loved this. It was the best after all and he loves sea life.
He won a raffle and got Finding Dory and Finding Nemo on DVD. He even got the movie story books for each and the Junior Novelizations for both. He was excited.
At the Emporium, Cassie smiled. "Babe. They are five minutes away."
"Kill the lights BJ and MJ!" Cassie added of her two womb mates. The lights were off as they heard the door to the Emporium open and Callie, Lexi and Eugene's voices.
"Why is it dark?" Eugene asked. Callie smiled as the lights were back on and all you heard was a huge SURPRISE fill the room. Eugene's mouth was open and his eyes went wide.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!" Cassie added.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BUBBA!" Charlotte added. They went to him and gave him a huge hug and a special birthday hat. The triplets didn't know the party was for him.
"What about our birthday?" Summer asked.
"We weren't with them yet," August and Autumn told their younger sister. They never remembered if they ever celebrated a birthday before. Eugene's didn't really celebrate a birthday either. His birth parents never had the time or wanted to spend the money. But when it came to Edward, they did. Edward hated how they treated Eugene.
"You all tricked me," Eugene added.
"We needed too," the moms' added. "Go play!"
He nodded and took off running at full speed as he eyed Oliver and Olivia and his siblings and other family members who are his age and friends from school.
Andrew, Elaine, Walter and Raquel came to the party and waved to Cassie and Charlotte. The older adults hugged the two women and made small talk as they went to see the birthday boy.
"EUGENE!" his grandparents' added. He ran to them and hugged them hard.
"GRANDPAS'. GRANDMAS'," he added as he smiled. "Thanks for coming."
Benjamin eyed this and went to get the triplets. "Your grandparents' are here!"
"They aren't. They are only Eugene's grandparents," August, Autumn and Summer added.
"Why not?" Leticia asked.
"They are his bio grandparents and they don't want to be and they asked Eugene if it was okay and he wasn't okay with it," the triplets added.
"That sucks!" Beth added. "Why is Eugene like that?"
"He doesn't have to share. He share's his moms' with you, Charlotte's dads' and our family as well. This is something he doesn't have to share," Oliver and Olivia added.
"You two don't know shit," the triplets added.
"HEY! Don't talk to our siblings like that," the twin girls, as well as Benjamin, Leticia, Beth, Zack, Leandro and Lilia added.
