Lafayette, Alexandra, Benjamin, Leticia, Beth, Zack, Leandro and Lilia sat in a circle at the beach. They were their at least an hour and all were mute and thinking to themselves. The only sounds that were heard was the crashing of the waves back and forth.
"Oliver and Olivia are right. We can't be doing this anymore. Being in the system is not our fault and neither is what happened to us," the eight added.
"I," Benjamin added as he was cut off by Leticia.
"Oliver, Olivia and the little Quads were taken by CPS. This was our fault," Leticia added.
"We were taken too," Beth added.
"But we caused this," the twin girls' added. "If we were anyone else's kids' we would have ended up in juvie."
"We need to get better," Lilia added as the waves came and left again.
"How?" Lilia asked,.
"Confronting our tormentors," Leandro added. "Like Madeline did."
The eight sighed as they eyed each other. "Are we agreed?" the twin girls' asked as they nodded.
A few days later, "Just having to see her makes me want to puke," Lafayette added as she eyed her twin sister, who nodded. "Let's get this over with," Alexandra added.
Christina Fields eyed the two girls and did not know who they were. "Who are you two?"
"Your daughters," the twin girls' added.
"Oh," she replied. She could not eye them. She was horrible with them. "Why are you two here?"
"To say that we forgive you. For everything," they added. "And to thank you. We ended up with our forever family," they added. "And Anthony and Andrew are doing great in a loving home."
"I'm sorry. That I wasn't a better mother or wife," she added. "Can I get a hug please?" she begged. They nodded and hugged her as she cried. The twin girls' cried too.
They left and decided to send her care packages each month. Despite what she did, she was their mother.
Beth and Zack went to another prison, it housed James Burke Smith. Their abuser and he was there for a long time. He not only tried to kill the twins, but also helped steal the eggs to create them. He smiled in a sad way as he eyed them. He also raped Beth.
"Hi James," Beth and Zack added. "Let's talk."
He nodded and went to a table as the twins' joined them. Beth eyed her rapist and Zack glared at him. "If it isn't Beth," James added in a wink as he licked his lips. And her twin."
The twins sighed. "We came to see you."
"Why?" he asked confused. "For what?"
"To say we forgive you," they both added. He was quiet.
"I don't need forgiveness," James spat out as he eyed his old foster son and daughter. He raped Beth and kept Zack in the basement.
"Well we needed too," they both added as they got up and left the prison. A man eyed the conversation of the twins and left to tell the other inmates. "To move on."
The snitch and the inmates eyed the twins and glared at James as he walked back into his cell to find several inmates. They began to beat him up and someone pulled a knife and killed him for raping Beth and abusing Zack.
At Callie and Leix's home, "Where are they?" Callie asked of her eight. It was Free Period and the eight left early. Callie does not like this and the fact that they were together made it scary.
