(Y/N) POV

New school.

New home.

New city.

Great.

If this keeps up I'm never going to make friends. Not that I didn't really have any at my old school. I did. But they didn't really seem, how should I put this, real? Genuine?

They were fake.

They became my "friends" out of pity. I don't know why. I'm just shy and socially awkward. I never know what to say. I'm always afraid to say the wrong thing. So I just stay quiet. They befriended me because the "shy girl looks lonely."

I found out later they actually didn't really like me. It was a bet to see who could make me open up first. I found this out and became even more quiet out of anger.

Now I'm at a new school. I wonder how it will be torture for me this time.

It's bigger than my old school in Daegu. This is Seoul High. I'm in my third year. One more year and I'll graduate.

I can do this.

*time skip to morning*

I can't do this.

I'm standing outside the building. It's so big. There are so many students.

I'm scared.

I look down and begin walking towards the front office. I hold my phone to my chest and only look up to make sure I don't run into anyone.

I hesitantly walk up to the front desk. The lady working looks up at me and flashes me a warm smile. I give a tiny fake one back.

"How can I help you?" She asks in a sweet voice. "I-I'm here t-to g-get my sch-schedule," I stutter, my face red of embarrassment. She looks at me concerned. I look away.

"What's your name, honey?" She asks me. I tell her and she looks me up on her computer.

"Here you are, dear," she says handing me my schedule and a map I will never use. Her face is full of sympathy. "You'll be alright. This place is big but the kids are nice. Just try to relax and have fun."

I give her a fake smile. Her words are kind, but not very helpful.

I look at my schedule for my first class. This school has one thing going for them. You have normal required classes, but then you can choose one class based off what you want to do as a career. I want to write music, so I chose creative writing this year. Hopefully it will help me in the future.

After a few minutes of wandering, I made it to my first class. I stopped outside the door.

I'm so scared. I just remembered that I will have to introduce myself in front of the whole class. I can't do this.

Fuuuuccckkkkk.

I take a deep breath and open the door. Class hasn't started yet and the teacher isn't here. I guess the students thought I was the teacher because all eyes went on me. I saw every student's face. Confused and curious.

"Who are you?" One boy asked. I didn't answer and just looked down. "She's new," someone said from behind me. I turned around a saw a tall guy with grey hair and glasses. Must be the teacher, Mr. Choi.

He looked down and gave me a soft smile. I quickly moved to the side and let him in.

Mr. Choi walked to his desk and grabbed his roster. He went down it then stops and looked at me.

"Alright guys. This is (L/N) (Y/N). Please, treat her well." I just stood there. I was expecting to have to do that myself. He smiled at me and pointed to an empty desk. I bowed and went to sit down.

Thank god this desk in the back. It didn't stop students from trying to steal glances though. I kept my head down.

*time skip to lunch*

Ah lunchtime. A time to meet up with friends and talk about nothing of importance. I don't eat lunch. And since this a new school I have no friends. I decided since the weather is nice I'll go out to the garden.

I made it outside and saw a huge tree. I walked to it and sat down. I leaned against it and closed my eyes.

Today has been awful. I had to introduce myself in every class except for Mr. Choi's. Kids keep staring. They whisper. Being the new kid sucks, especially when you're too afraid to talk. There have been a few who have come up to me. But my shyness either made me run or look down and cover my face until they leave.

I opened my eyes when I heard talking. I looked around and saw a group of seven boys coming this way. They were gorgeous. I kept staring at them until I realized they were right in front of me.

Shit.

I stood up.

"Hey you're (Y/N) right?" A boy with pink and brown hair asked. I nodded, afraid to say anything. "I'm Namjoon, this is Hoseok. We're in the same year as you," he pointed to a boy with dark brown hair. I just nodded again. The boy named Hoseok smiled brightly. "Guys introduce yourselves," Namjoon said to the rest of the boys.

"I'm Seokjin, the oldest. Fourth year. Call me Jin" This boy was very handsome and had blondeish hair.

"Sup. I'm Yoongi. Same year as Jin." He had mint green hair. He looks good with it.

"Hello hello! My name is Taehyung. Call me Tae or TaeTae. I'm in second year as well as these two." This boy is so cute. He had a boxy smile and I couldn't help but smile back. He also has brown hair with some green in it. I had butterflies looking at him.

"I'm Jimin. The mochi and cutest," he winked. I blushed and glanced away for a second. I mean he is cute. Short but it's adorable. He had orange hair that looks so soft I want to touch it.

"Hyung, stop. You're scaring and embarrassing her." The last boy scolded Jimin. He has black hair and is very muscular. "Hi Noona, I'm Jungkook, the youngest." He bows.

Noona? Oh I guess that's because I'm older than him. As well as Taehyung and Jimin.

"Together we are BTS!" They all shouted at the same time. It startled me and I backed up and hit the tree.

"Oh I'm sorry! We didn't mean to scare you," the boy named Taehyung said. He came to me fast and pulled me into a hug.

I froze. My heart is pounding and I didn't hug back.

"Taehyung let her go! Can't you see she's scared?" Jin, I think, yelled at Taehyung. He quickly let go and bowed in an apology. I didn't know what to say. So I did what I always do.

I ran.
