Off we go

Walking out of the palace my stomach began to hurt from all the excitement. "I'll fly us out of the city." Suggested Dark who was clearly not thinking. "No, since this place is full of FLYING demons we should stay on the ground where there is more places to hide." I responded leading him towards the woods. "Ugh I hate it when humans are smarter than immortals." He grunted as he followed me. "That reminds me, you will have to defend me." I said giving him the "bet you regret saying that" look. "No way! I'm a prince I don't defend peasants like you!" He retorted. "Well too bad you have to if you want to save your mother. Plus your the only immortal in case you haven't looked at me!" I told him. He growled as we entered the woods. We walked in complete silence. We walked for what seemed like hours until somehow we came upon a waterfall. "Huh, it's pretty beautiful here." I said sitting down and pulling out a map. "I don't agree with mortals normally but I agree." He said looking at me with the "I hate you" eyes. "Yeah but his is like the first stop on the map. I wonder why it's so deadly..." I said. Then all of the sudden something started rising from the water....
