Today is such a good day to celebrate.
Masarap umalis ngayon at mag-inom dahil tapos ko na ang thirty eight-hour shift ko! I can finally be at peace for a while and sleep while I can! Pero bago ko gawin ang mga iyon, aalis muna ako.
I think my craving for alcohol can't wait already. I text my brother to join me.
Me:
I'm going to BGC later. Join me. I don't want to be alone.
As much as I want to make Gio come with me, too, ay hindi ko magawa. He's probably busy right now. And it's weird that he's our boss! He's a year older than me kaya natural lang din na igalang ko siya... ng kahit konti.

My phone rang at nakita kong tumatawag si Benjamin. I answered his call.
"Hey! I can't make it tonight. I'm sorry." Sabi niya sa kabilang linya.
Wow! Hindi niya man lang ako kinamusta at ito agad ang binungad sa akin ha!? I pouted even though I know that he can't see it.
"Why?"
"Brittany, I-I'm occupied right n-now." Kumunot ang noo ko. Pagkatapos noon ay nakarinig ako ng tunog ng naghahalikan.
Ugh! Gosh! He's back at his old ways again. I shut my eyes at tsaka hinilot ang sentido ko.
It makes sense now why he's 'occupied'. I guess his inner itchiness cannot wait any longer. And he badly needs to get laid.
"I-I need to hang up now, Britt. Just c-call," he chuckled erotically. Nandiri ako bigla. "Stop, Sandra, I need to talk to my sister first."
"Just what I was saying, just call me if you need someone to pick you up." Tinuloy niya ang sinasabi niya.

My brother just knows me too well! But I'm sure I will go home this time. I badly need sleep! Siguro uuwi muna ako para makatulog ng sandali tapos magpapalit ng damit at tsaka na ako didiretso sa BGC. My parents aren't at Kuya Aiden's house. They're on business vacation with Tita Lorena.
"No, I'll go home. I'm not planning on drinking too much, though. I will just celebrate my first thirty-eight-hour shift as a fourth year resident then all is well."
