Tinupad ko ang hiling niya na magdidinner kami kalaunan. I made sure to finish my rounds first before I proceeded to get ready for that said dinner.
I used Margaux's office to change my clothes. Actually, hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit ko ba pinaghahandaan 'tong dinner na 'to, e, for all I know... this is just a friendly dinner!
And it's not even a date!
Kaya sa tingin ko, ayos lang kahit hindi ko na masyado pang paghandaan ang susuotin ko! Pero bakit parang gusto kong maging bihis na bihis?
Tiningnan ko ang aking sarili sa salamin. This is the third outfit I've tried today. Most of them are dresses but I just don't get the vibe of wearing one this evening. Usually kasi kapag feel ko mag-suot ng dress, hindi na ko mamimili pa kung ano ang susuotin.
Pero eto, nakailang dress na ako na sinusuot pero wala parin akong mapili! Maybe because I'm not really feeling it.
I go for the casual attire. I wore a white tank top and a cream colored culottes. I paired my outfit with a pair of nude heels from Jimmy Choo. This was my Dad's twenty-fourth birthday gift for me.
I sighed heavily at tiningnan muli ang sarili sa salamin.
"Okay na siguro 'to diba?" I asked myself in the mirror. I nodded.
"Okay na 'yan." Sinagot ko rin ang sarili.
Sinarado ko ang opisina ni Margaux matapos kong mag-ayos. Pagkalabas ko naman ay agad na sumalubong sa akin si Rico.
"Oh... going on a date, aren't you?" he smirked and he wiggled his eyebrows at me.
Tumawa ako at inirapan siya. Nakita ko namang pinasadahan niya ng tingin ang suot ko.
"Okay naman diba?" I asked him.
Hindi kasi ako nakuntento sa sagot ko sa sarili ko kanina. Maybe I also need someone else's opinion about my outfit tonight. Kapag hindi nila type ang suot ko, pupwede naman sigurong magpalit ako ulit diba?
Or hindi na kasi sayang effort ko sa pagpili nito. Oh, well.
"Hmm..." hinawakan niya ang baba niya at nag-isip ng sagot. Tiningnan niya ako paulit-ulit.
"If you're making your boyfriend fall more in love with you, then that's a lovely outfit. But if you're going out with a friend then... that's a little overdressed." He said honestly.
I pouted. Really? Overdressed 'to?!
Tiningnan ko naman ang suot ko. How come?!
"Well, it's just my opinion. Ikaw bahala, ikaw naman magdadala niyan. Hindi naman ako." Nagkibit siya ng balikat at tipid na ngumiti.
