Chapter 13.

Sarada's POV

Boruto clenched the steering wheel. He was mad, I could tell. "I'm gonna kill him." He said about to make u-turn. "Please don't!" I said. His eyes softened. "It's not that I don't want you to defend me but, just not right now. I don't wanna deal with him. Just, take me where you were gonna take me for our date." I said.

Boruto smiled although I could tell it was to cover his anger. "Sure." He said. I smiled and took his hand in mine.

"So where we going?" I ask him. "I already told you, it's a surprise." He said. I rolled my eyes. "And I already told you I hate surprises." I Said. "Well then think of it as a gift or a, treasure hunt." He said. "Ha! You told me what we're doing!" I Said. "Damn." He cursed as I laughed. "Might as well tell me the rest." I Said. He smirked. "Nah, it won't ruin the surprise at all." He said.

I rolled my eyes. "A treasure  hunt huh? Well then what's the treasure?" I Asked Him. He stopped the car at a woods/forest type place. "Well that's why we have to find the treasure." He smirked getting out the car. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. "So I guess I have to try and find the hint?" I asked him. I knew How treasure hunts work. He nodded. I sighed. "This is gonna take forever." And with that I began looking around for the hint.

Boruto smiled. "Read it." He Said. I opened the small piece of paper. "After watching a movie you'll know where to go." I looked at Boruto. "Really? Didn't wanna rhyme or anything?" He shrugged. "I did my best, now let's go." He said swinging his keys around one finger. I smiled and hopped inside the car.

As soon as we got there I found out we were scheduled to see a movie. I found another hint in my popcorn but he told me not to open it till he tells me to. After watching the movie I was stumped. "Even smart Sarada doesn't know," He mocked. I hit him as I remembered what happened in
the last scene. "So we're going out to eat?" I Asked. He nodded.

After dinner he told me to read the hint he told me but to. It said "You'll find a surprise when you walk outside." I groaned. "I don't think I'll need a blindfold." I Said. He shrugged. He guided me outside, I think, and then took the blindfold off. I gasped. "For real?" He nodded. I squealed. "You bought me a car?" He asked. "Well I am rich." He Said shrugging. I rolled my eyes.

"I'll have someone from the mafia drive it back to the party. I got it so you won't have to ride with your father as much anymore." He said. "But that was like two hours ago? You got me a car this quick?" I Asked Him. He shrugged. "Once again, I'm rich." He Said. I hit him once again.

"Anyway put the blind fold back on, one more surprise before we have to get back to the party. I groaned but let him put it back on me.

Are we in the air?" I Asked Him. "Maybe." He Said. "I would roll my eyes but you have this blind fold on me." I Said. Boruto took the blind fold off. He handed me a little box. "What is this?" I asked. He shrugged. "You know it's too early to be proposing." I said. "Just open it!" He said.
I opened it and was surprised by what I saw. "Boruto! What is this? It's beautiful!" I said.
