-- Mike steals his mom's car, cuz he wants to take Eleven for a drive. Wow. :")

Mike's P.O.V

This is risky. I haven't done anything like this before.

I mean, my parents and Nancy are both sleeping, so I don't think I'll get caught.

I also shouldn't be too bad at driving.

Eleven and I sneak out of my house successfully, then hop into the car.

She looks at me smiling so bright.

"So... are you ready?" I ask nervously.

She nods very certainly.

"Where do you wanna go?"

She thinks for a moment, "anywhere."

Hmmm... I know where to go.

I start the car, and easily pull out of the driveway.

We've been planning this for quite a while now.

"You're good at driving Mike." She mutters, leaning over to me, not buckled.

"Thanks! I've never done it before. Just watched other people do it. It's not so bad."

She sets her hand on my shoulder, looking out the window at the dark, starry, night sky.

I turn right, a little too sharp. El falls onto my lap.

"Shit!" I yell, slamming the breaks while she continues laughing.

"I don't wanna hurt you." I say softly.

"I don't care. I'll be fine. This is fun. That was fun." She giggles.

"Even though I could have killed you?" I ask sarcastically, just to be stupid.

She laughs, shoving me slightly. "Drive!"

I step on the gas, going a little faster than I originally intended to.

"Woooo!" She cheers happily.

I unroll my window, so she goes back to her seat to do the same.

I slow down, taking a left turn.

"Are we almost there?" She asks.

"Not really."

"Good, keep going."

I smile, speeding up a little bit more.

She sticks her arm out the window, so I peek over at her, watching the wind push her hair back.

Eleven's P.O.V

I love this! It's so fun, and Mike is a good driver too!

He turns again, but it was the smoothest turn.
