Lucas finally got out of the infirmary last week and today we are going back to the city to have an official first date.
Anytime when I got to New York, I always feel free. Forget the fact that my parents are dead, or life will never be normal for me. But, when I am there I know somehow I'll be ok.
Robin of course wanted to pick out my outfit for it, so she gave me a pair of denim shorts and a loose fitting red tank top.
She tried putting make-up on as well, but I ran down the hall before she could.
Lucas was going to meet me out front, outside the force field. I ran down the many stairs and almost tripped many times, but regained my balance.
I made my way outside, and of course it was raining. But, I still ran faster outside. I ran through the field to find Lucas holding an umbrella on the other side.
He closed the umbrella and got on the bike. I climbed on the back and held on tight as we drove off to the city.

He parked the bike in a parking garage, and we started walking.
He wanted to go back to that little café we first went to, but I wanted to go to this restaurant I first saw when Liam took me here.
I'm still feeling kind of bad from breaking up with him. Liam was so kind and just seemed too innocent for me to break his heart. But, I had to do it. So I skipped the thought when we walked into the restaurant.
They sat us down in the back, and this place was a steak house. I knew both of us would love this place. It was called Joe's Burgers, and the place when you entered smelled like they took cooked meat and smeared it on the walls. It was so much better then that last restaurant Liam took me here.
They gave us the menu and I got really tempted to order every steak on stock, then I saw what their special was. A 28 oz. Steak Challenge. Eat the entire steak in 30 minutes the meal is free.
"I'm getting this.", I said pointing it out in the menu to Lucas.
"I hate to say it, but I think that steak is bigger than you are?", he said.
"We'll thanks, but I'm getting it. Most girls would probably say thank you because it almost sounds like you are saying 'your skinny", I said putting the menu down.
The waiter walked up to the table, and we placed our orders. When I told him I wanted the steak, his eyes bulged just as much as Lucas's did. Lucas just got a 12 oz. steak and the waiter returned to the kitchen.
30 minutes later and this behemoth of a steak come out and was set down in front of me.
"You have 30 minutes, begin now...", the waiter said, but I had already started.
By the time he said begin now 5 oz. was gone. Lucas didn't even touch his steak when I was eating mine. He just sat there with a shocked face.
"25 minutes.", said the waiter. 9 oz gone.
This was going to be easy. I kept eating and eating. I almost wanted to take the steak and swallow it hole. But I took my time like a almost lady and ate the steak, but ripping off chunks.
13 oz. gone.
"20 minutes."
17 oz. gone.
"15 minutes."
21 oz gone.
"10 minutes."
26 oz gone.
"5 minutes."
